Default SCAL quits working when I try to import scut files...

I'm still playing around with the trial version. I've downloaded svg & scut files, dingbats and fonts. Everything is working ok for me except when I try to import scut files. I click on the svg import button and when I click on one of the scut files, it brings a box up that says SCAL has quit working and shuts the program down. Anyone else have this problem?

SCUT files are for the cricut software. You have to have the cricut software (whatever it's called) and the cartridge that scut file uses.

SCAL uses svg files.

I found the answer. Scut files are the projects made in SCAL. I had to go to open projects and all the scut files are there. I think I'm going to love SCAL! I told dh I want it for Christmas.

SCUT files are scal files RockerChick. I believe cricuts design studio uses .cut files, no S.

hsmom, just remember it's import svgs but open scuts, and always from scal, no double clicking from the folders. Feel free to pm me if you're ever having a problem or there are user groups on Yahoo which are as helpful as they are friendly.

I know Jenn! I was so confused as to what was causing it. I came across the same question on a help board. That was all that was keeping me from telling hubby that I definitely want the program. I was so excited when I found the answer! lol
