I'm not sure if these dies will bend or not, since I have never used them. Sorry. Maybe someone else on the SCS board will know?

You are not a pain! And yes turn the mats to the part of the die sticking out is facing opposite of the rollers. Hard to explain! HTH I just can't answer too much about Quickutz dies, sorry.
