Question How do you re-ink an ink pad?

I just got my first re-inker, but now I realize I don't know what to do with it! LOL!

Do I just put one large drop in the center of the pad or do I put little drops all over it? Is there a technique to this?

I put the drops all over mine. I actually squeeze the bottle alot, and use about a 1/4 of it for a 1 time re-ink. Maybe I use too much...I was never sure the amount, but it works for me!

Once at a SU party the demo showed us how to ink a pad. She placed the nib of the bottle directly on the pad and went left to right over the entire length of the pad rotated the pad and did the same thing the other direction.

That's the technique I learned also and it works for me!

Thanks so much ladies! I think I overused my poor black ink pad over Halloween on all those bats and black kitties!
