#MMTPT66 - ALL SHINY! ALL SPIFFY! WE'LL BE THERE IN A JIFFY!
WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY AND CHALLENGE #66
ALL SHINY, ALL SPIFFY, WE'LL BE THERE IN A JIFFY!
This is my story!
1. I got this precious little silver teapot ornament in a package from a group of SCS friends. (Thanks again, you guys!) We all know what its like to be so obbessed with card making that you begin to be inspired by everyday surroundings in the world around you. Do you ever find yourself thinking ooh, that's cool! I can make A CARD that looks like that! As a result of recent events in Colorado I found myself inspired by a shiny flying thing as it was pursued by local professionals and as well, by Jiffy Pop!
2. So, when Mrs. Claus called and mentioned the problem Santa is having this year, it was perfect timing! Mr. and Mrs. Claus are so worried! What they have been dreading for many years has finally come true! The technology has changed more and more each year and this year Santa's test run failed due to the controls in his sleigh no longer being compatible with flight thingys! (Hey, I am no rocket scientist!) And you thought the reindeer steered the sleigh didn't you. So did I!
3. Mrs. Clause offered all the tea and Christmas treats (frosted sugar cookies, fudge, divinity, and peanut brittle) in exchange for getting Santa off the ground this year. And we don't even have to sleep in the barn with the reindeer! It seems there's room to put us up in the workshop! We just have to make sure we don't squish any elves cuz they are in big demand this time of year! We really don't want to see the national headlines read something like this: Sadly Christmas has been cancelled due to the unfortunate demise of Santa's entire work crew at the North Pole. 42,000 Tea Partiers from all across the world are being detained for questioning! That would not be good press for us!
4. We're off to the North Pole girlies! Here is the plan, Jan! (Jan is a little female reindeer currently in training and hoping to have her shot this year in a male reindeer dominated field.) Bring anything that can fly and pull Santa along. Souped up hot air balloons (yes, shiny silver ones are fine!) airplanes, helicopters, Dumbo, pigs that fly, heavy duty birdies, bionic penquins, and last but not least, maybe even a new crew of reindeer with a sleigh equipped with the latest technology! What? Yes, you can name the new reindeer with cool, fun, new reindeer names!
Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT65 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Ever want to get a jump on next week's challenge card? I am posting a sneak peak (tea peak) on my blog each week showing you a glimpse of the following week's teapot as well as a hint of the story! It's at the end of the Teapot Tuesday Post each week. I usually post it a couple days after the Tuesday Challenge is posted. So, be sneaky and get a jump on the other tea-potters! Snort!
If you are confused about these challenge, see the first sticky post of this thread for more information as well as a directory of individual challenges.
Here's my UF(S)O. Hope it doesn't crash over the tea-party!!
Hope to be back for more tea with a more normal card later. But in the meantime, I packed all the gingerbread that was left from last week into the sleigh - so if it does crash, at least we get the gingerbread!
What a cute, shiny little silver teapot, Cindy! Your card and teapot are terrific! I'm on my way to the North Pole for the tea party! I'm bringing some bionic reindeer to help out. I'm sure we can get the sleigh off the ground! Here is my card: MMTPT66 TLC245 Techno Reindeer by cmsuto at Splitcoaststampers
Yikes! I'll be winging my way to the North Pole later this evening, but I'm not sure how I'm gonna get there! I don't think I have any stamps that represent flying!
Oh wait, I do have some bird stamps. Maybe I can get enough birds together so that they will have enough strength to pull Santa and his sleigh. hrmmmm .... this could work!
What a great challenge!
My girl Crystal the Reindeer can help Santa out. She's bionic and very user friendly.
She also knows just what Santa likes, and makes cocoa just like Mrs. Claus. :0)

Yeehaw! So glad to see you back Cindy! I know I said that last week but I am saying it again! Ya`ll will have to read my story behind my card. Here it is!
What a warm welcome! Thanks ya'll!
Bertie can nail me with a slimy fish anytime!
When I first read Mothermark's story about the Clauses' crisis, I knew this was the goofy place for me. Wonderful, wonderful imaginations.
Oolong anyone?
I am only bringing one additional reindeer to the party, hope he can be of some help! I have silver embossed snowflakes on the base of my snow globe that are hard to see in the pic: Santa's Helper by sleepyinseattle at Splitcoaststampers
