I have been lurking here for six months now and finally decided to say hello!! Thank you for all of the inspiration you have given. You are all so talented!! I am a mom of 2 beautiful DD and I am raising my 4 yr old nephew also. I supervise a dispatch office for a municipal utility company. I don't always have the time to stamp that I would like, but after a bad day at work - somehow the time is there. I would like to share one more thing with you all - I came across a website and I bought one of the organizers for my stamps. I absolutely love it!!!! The address is www.Hankswoodcrafts.com Have a great day!!
I currently live in Texas, but am from Baton Rouge. Way out in Central, specifically. My brother and his family live in Prairieville, off Swamp Road. (Doesn't that sound just like southern Louisiana?) How lucky you are to of found SCS. Your life will NEVER be the same. :P
So, we have Denham Springs, Greenwell Springs and Prairieville represented here. Boy, stamping sure has come a LONG way.

I'm in Baton Rouge, near Higland Road & Seigen. Been here since'97, but originally from teh Fla. Keys & Miam/Ft. Laud area.
I know there are a lot more people throughout Baton Rouge & surrounding areas. I'm also newly registered, but been lurking for awhile. Used to be an SU Demo, but decided to pursue something else.
Hi, another LA demo here. New since September. I live in Metairie - not too far from you BR area ladies. If you have stamp camps or group meetings for demos, I'd love to be included - it's a great way to get ideas.
If any of you want to contact me please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]. I'd love to chat! If you send me e-mail addresses, I'd be glad to keep you informaed of things I do here too.
Maybe we could consider hosting a large group stamp camp day sort of thing. If we all pool resources, it's a good way to spread the word and share the rewards. I'd love to get some stampin buddies!
If something was held in BR, i would most likely be the first on the list. I don't venture too far outside the city limits. I am part of a hostess club of ladies who do Stampin Up. We meet once a month. I've had two hostess parties of my own in my house since I started stampin in July. I love it and have put scrapbooking on the backburner cause i'm having so much fun doing crafts and cards. It is very creative and creativity relieves stress for me. Feel free to PM me anytime. Geeeaaauuuuuuuxxxxx stampers!
Hey ~ I'm in Baton Rouge too. My name is Tracey Mizell and have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for over 3 years, but have been stamping for about 6 years. Right now I'm trying to switch gears to my other new business as a Gourmet Consultant with Taste of Gourmet, and just do quarterly stamp camps in my home & place orders for my regular customers.

I'm not from LA, but lived there for 3 years... LOL, does that count? We lived in Lake Charles/Sulphur while my husband was on recruiting duty there. Would love to go back again sometime... maybe one of these years...
that "Guest" entry was supposed to have The Cat's Meow but i noticed i wasn't logged in, my hubby keeps clearing out the internet files so it doesn't retain my log in info when i go to the site and i have to remember to check it before i post now i guess.......
