I'm wondering how much you gals spend on your stampin' and scrappin' hobby each month? I spend on average about 100.00 per month.
I don't buy clothes, get manicures/pedicures. I buy my makeup through my own
Jafra business so I get a huge discount. I do get my hair colored every 7 wks. at the salon and I guess that is my only other personal splurge.
Right now I'm building my Copics collection, but I'm still trying to keep it about 100.00 per month for Copics, stamps, paper etc.
There are just soooooooo many wonderful goodies out there!!!
I am a Stampin' Up demo, and I work it full time, so thankfully I can buy pretty much whatever, unless I'm having a really awful month.
I can't shake the frugal habits of a lifetime, however, so it's not like I spend hundreds every month : )
Before I was a demo I could only spend about $20 a month unless I had birthday money or something! It is really nice to be able to buy whatever I need now.

It depends on the month I guess. Some months all the "odd" non-monthly expenses come due, like property taxes, car registrations, home and car insurances, etc. Some months I get more overtime too. I also don't buy clothes (I mean, if one shirt wears out, I'll go shopping for one replacement shirt), manicures, pedicures, or makeup. I cut my own hair. I have no kids, pets, or plants. Cars are paid off. The house will be paid off in TWO YEARS!!! My personal splurges are Starbucks. Mmmmmmmm.
This month so far I've spent $110, but this is because I got a Bigshot on sale! Last month I spent $260, but that was 'cause I went to a stamp convention!! In August I spent at least $200. I guess my average per month is maybe $160??

It depends on the month but I normally spend $50/month on my PTI addiction and then if I see something out and about at a store I might buy something there, too.
I don't really buy stamps because of my DT work I don't have to.
I also don't really go to stores that sell stamping stuff since I don't care for Michael's and the nearest LSS is 40 minutes from me I don't get there often at all since I work during the day and my weekends are rather precious so I don't really feel like driving that far just to see what they have that's new when I can look online at other places ;)
Now when I 1st started stamping I am sure I was spending well over $100/month, maybe $200/month because I was unsure of my style and tastes so I was buying EVERYTHING...and never used most of it. Now that I know "me" and what I like, I am much less tempted by every new must-have.
(I do need every new BG 6x6 pad that comes out but that's only natural, lol :mrgreen
Up until this month, I was spending a minimum of $100 per month just on SU! That was before my miscellaneous purchases at my favorite LSS, M's, J's,or on EBay, usually around $60 per month.
This month, though, I spent less than $100 total at PTI and Crafty Secrets.
Hubby and I are big budgeters and in our budget, every month we give ourselves $100 "fun money" each. Well, we usually get $100, on tight months, it's less. All my "fun money" goes to stamping stuff! Though now I'm collecting copics so my plan is to use up my paper/ribbon/embellishments stash and use my rarely used sets, etc and not spend on anything but copics. Yeah, we'll see how well that goes! ;)

I usually spend about $100 per month. I'm an su demo (hobby) so I try to meet my minimums every quarter, but I also love cornish heritage farm stamps and cc designs stamps. I just discovered Papertrey Inks, so I will be doing some shopping there next month. But of course I make sure I paid the bills first then I can play! working on getting copics too!
I sometimes say it's the ONLY bright side to being widowed -- I don't have to account to anyone for how I spend my money. If my late (much beloved, much missed) husband were still still with me, he'd probably have a coronary and die if he caught a look at my stamping bills.

For em, it really depends. I have the luxery have having a nice amount of disposible income that I can spend on myself each month, therefore some months it may be a $100-$200 but other months it's nothing. If I had to average everything out, I guess it would be about $50 per month.
For me it varies month to month. I was trying a $100 budget just because I really dont need anything (other than adhesives and white cardstock for the troops project) But every time PTI does a release I have to order...I love their stuff...all of it. And new nesties...gotta have all those too and embossing folders...And then wouldnt you know Martha Stewart just released a pile of NEW and beautiful punches and I want all those. Some months I spend over $500. Some not so much. Oh and then there is all the SU stuff to order..YIKES>>>>
blessings.
$20 and that is mostly for adhesives. I am trying to use up what I already have. At least that is what I tell myself. The I can't afford to buy more sounds more whinny.
I used to spend around a 100, maybe 150, then, for some reason I just stopped stamping and doing crafts! I have a huge stamp room filled with new SU! stamps, circut, cuddlebug, every accessory from the SU! catty. Now I don't spend any. It's so depressing, I wish I knew what I could do to get my groove back. I think the problem might be that I have TO much stuff and it's overwhelming. :(
It depends what's on sale. If Cricut carts are on sale, I spend more. I'm spoiled in that I always have extra money every month to spend on myself, but I guess I do deserve it because I'm the one earning it. BUT that will probably change once the baby gets here. Luckily I work from home so I make my own hours. If I need to make more money, I take more orders.
About $150...sometimes less, sometimes more. But I've been crafting for awhile, so I mostly buy stamps since I have tons and tons of paper and embellishments already.

When I feel this way, I set myself a goal and make products for a charity or fundraiser. It helps me get my mojo back and feel good about how stamping has consumed my life, and the stuff goes to a worthwhile cause!
There's lots of fun challenges around, too. Join one of them and you'll definitely start getting some things produced in that beautiful big stamp room!

If this is my hubby asking, its $50 per month. If not, it's probably at least that much per week! (except that I've been really bad lately...darn enablers!)
Around a $100/month but I am really trying to bring that down. I have to use more in my stash so i'm staying off of my favorite online stores and out of Michaels and my LSS. I have so many goodies that i've forgotten about so its been a good chance to go through my stuff and find "new" treasures.

That's a good idea! I looked at my trades from last years convention and got a little spark, so maybe I'll check out the challenges. Thanks!
I started keeping track of my purchases at the beginning of the summer by keeping all my craft receipts in an envelope. Not only do I paper craft, I also rug hook, quilt, cross stitch and needle punch. The first few months I spent as I normally do and racked up bills of about $500. YIKES! Since that eye-opening experience I have gotten waaaaay better and more conscious so I am keeping myself around $150-200. Remember though my other hobbies are pretty pricey. If I looked just at my paper craft budget I would be around $75-$100 a month including my stamp club. Still a lot but I have finally reached a point in my life where I can spend some of that money. Just gotta keep it all in check!

Oh, about $50.00. I do budget for clothes, shoes, hair color at the salon, etc. A friend and I LOVE to go shopping (not for crafts), so I probably do that more than stamping! I know....horrors!!! ;>)
Looking at the supplies I've finally been able to stock up on (my budget used to be $20.00/mo.so it's taken years) I need to shop less and stamp more!!

My average is about $200, it adds up so fast! I am a tool junkie! But I don't have a shoe problem. I am not picky about clothes and don't really like to shop (except for crafts LOL!). I cook most our meals. I cut my boys and DH hair. My kids have had so many school projects that without my "toys" it would have been harder for them to do. I have had several friends and myself use my "toys" for church projects or activities. I am justified!!! But I am a pro at justification, ask any of my friends. LOL!
I try to keep it within $100 per month but I don't always succeed. I've splurged recently and am currently waiting for orders from PTI and TAC - and am planning a trip to Mikes tomorrow - and I have one of the good ones near me
I probably spend a lot more than I should! *lol* I'm weak when it comes to enabling and when I find stamps I *love* (like The Greeting Farm!), I can't just have one - I *need* them all! Thankfully I have a very supportive hubby.
The last 6 months I've spent nothing! and boy has that been hard...but finances mandate it. :( Prior to that, I was spending $100-300/month. I wish I could be spending $100/month now. There are a few accessory type things I wish I could be picking up...up ohhh so many stamp sets out there that I want. And paper. Oh my. I'm such a glutten for beautiful patterned paper. :(
Until this year, I never kept track. At the first of the year a girlfriend got me to write down what I am spending and how many cards and LO's I am making. I had been averaging about $200 per month. Now mind you, I am single, don't have kids and can work overtime at work to pay for any extras I want. A couple months ago I decided I had too much crap. I have been on purging and organizing kick since then. I am in a monthly kit club and a hostess group, so I am commited to those purchases, but other than that I have been using what I have and only purchase something if I have to have it to complete a project.
Right now I'm lucky to have a really good job and an online teaching job so I buy whatever but soon we'll be on one income due to a military move and will not be spending any until we sell our house or I find a job or I have a more steady part-time job.
At this time though every month I spend $39/mo on Scarlet Lime. At leat $55 on PTI and here and there at the craft store which adds up quickly. Once every three months I spend $150 on SU stuff. So I think in essence I spend the same amount as what I make teaching online... that's my play money and I think I deserve to spend it all
I have another expensive like too... photography and cooking. I just spent a butt-load on Le Creuset and All-Clad + Shun knives so I need to lay low for awhile since my next big one is a nice lens
It depends on what I have going. I would say maybe $50 to $100 a month, unless I am enabled. I don't consider my SU as part of that since I am a demo and what I buy I use for my club and camps. I haven't bought much since the end of August since I went both days to a stamp show and spent way more than I had planned on. I do find that I tend to order more online if I am on alot, but luckily I haven't been on alot in the last few weeks thanks to my daughters soccer schedule.
I used to spend at least $100.00 per month, but I decided I was buying way too much and not using a lot of it. Now I only buy adhesives. I have a small house, and if I keep buying and buying, I'll have to move the bed into the garage! Time for me to get realistic and use what I have, which is probably enough for 2 lifetimes! I don't know about you, but a lot of my stuff was impulse buying, and this website was not helping! Now I feel I have the spending under control, and I have more time to actually USE my stuff, instead of always looking for more. I'm Free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad there are plenty of you spending more than I! I spend around $100 and sometimes more. I make cards for several ministries but still have trouble justifying it when I look at all of the stuff! I also am in a use mode and trying to whittle down paper etc. before purchasing more. I have stamp sets that I haven't used yet so there is no reason to buy anything right now!
I haven't kept track this year, but I am an SU demo, and I keep myself going as a hobby demo. I also just started up with two scrapbook kit clubs. I don't feel any guilt over what I spend though, because I work full time as a home daycare provider and some of the supplies are written of on taxes for projects we do. Plus, hubby has many expensive hobbies!
