Frappuccino bottle ideas?
On one of the Christmas threads, a poster was looking for a caddy for Frappuccino bottles. Katie on Clearly iStamp has a great tutorial that someone mentioned on another thread as well as the Christmas thread. (Thank you, Katie!)
All the talk about Frappuccino bottles got me thinking: what is everyone putting IN the bottles?
I saw spices mentioned on one thread, but how 'bout everyone else? I would love some ideas. Anything snowman related that I could use for neighbor gifts would be more than welcome.
There are so many creative people on this board. I bet we could have 25 ideas at least!

I'm using mine for Snowman Soup. One bottle holds the cocoa, another holds Snowballs (mini marshmallows), another holds chocolate chips or chocolate sprinkles and the 4th holds peppermint sticks. Then I embellish the front, back and sides of the carrier. The bottles have new labels. I make them the same size as the old labels, peel off the hold, run the new ones through my Xyron and stick them on. They do NOT come off easily after that! LOL.
I'm also using the BIG frap bottles for one-person snowman soup and putting it into a custom gift sack. I'll layer cocoa, marshmallows, sprinkles and then tie on a candy cane. Same idea as above with the labels.

I also use them for snowman soup... but I've seen many people put bath salts in them. They're also great for Halloween candy, candy corns fit perfectly through the opening.

You could do a whole Spa set - bath salts in one jar, a jar candle in the other (you put in your wic, pour your wax), sugar scrub in the third jar and home-made foot scrub in the fourth jar.

You could also do a set for part of a BBQ Party - fill the four jars with four different kinds of marinades or rubs, then add to it the $1 BBQ Tools from Dollar Tree. It will all fit great in these plastic plaid totes sold at Walmart - they are by Hallmark and near the gift bags. They are plastic though, and such a cute plaid. They are only 75! Add in a bottle of homemade BBQ Sauce and the recipes you used to make the marinades/rubs/sauces. It makes a fantastic gift set!

you can do just about any theme-
Coffee and Cocoa- 1 bottle Instant Coffee, 1 Instant Cappuccino mix, 1 hot cocoa, 1 mint sticks, chocolate chips, or coffee-flavored candy
Teacher's Helper- 1 bottle with layered paperclips or giant paper clips, binder clips, and rubber bands....a 2nd bottle with mini-pens or pencils
Hugs & Kisses- Layer Hershey's Kisses and Hershey's Hugs in the big frappp bottle
M&Ms come in holiday colors, but little wrapped 'minis' are cute too (think Snickers Bars, 3 Musketeers, Mini Reeses Peanut Butter cups etc). Different color and flavor candy sticks are like candy canes with no 'hook' and fit in the big bottles.
Powdered Cookie Dough Mix (no 'wet' ingredients added- 'wet' being like water, eggs, oil etc)
Instant Oatmeals- Use plain instant oatmeal (or quick cook, be sure to give instructions LOL), 1 bottle add a pinch of cinnamon and raisins, 1 bottle add chocolate chips, 1 bottle add dehydrated apples and craisins (dehydrated cranberries), 1 add brown sugar.
Movie Night- 1 bottle popcorn kernels (if they have a popper, otherwise add a pack of microwave popcorn LOL), 1 Whoppers, Goobers, Sno Caps or Raisinettes, 1 Twizzlers, 1 bottle add a favorite candy of yours
hope these help

My sister-in-law would put salsa in them. She makes her own, and is constantly asking everyone to save their jam jars, etc. for her.
As a coffee lover, I would also love to just get a 6-pack of actual Frappucinos!!! Looking at those little jars just makes me want to drink some coffee, no matter what is actually in them! *grin*
Oooh, or those chocolate-covered coffee beans!!! Or chocolate covered anything (raisins etc.)! You could say the recipient was bad and only getting reindeer poop.

you can also make "craft in a bottle". fill a big frapp bottle with layers of ribbon, brads, buttons, small stamps and then tie ank inkspot on to the bottle as a 'tag' or kids' crafts in a bottle- pom poms, stickers, wiggly eyes, foamies, etc...
mani/pedi in a bottle (well, 2 bottles)- 1 bottle holds a nice foot soak, scrub or lotion, the other bottle holds toe seperators, a mini emery board, a mini nail polish and a few of those individually-wrapped nail polish remover towelettes. Fill in empty space with shredded paper.
you could make one for kids and fill it with money.... lots and lots of $1 bills (you can fold them into fancy shapes, like origami money). $20 seems like so much more in singles LOL at least to a kid.... and you could make that one into a bank bottle (cut a coin slit in the lid)
you can do a theme, like use Pirate stamps, and fill the bottle with yellow m&ms or gold-foil covered chocolate coins. (At Hannukah, these are called Gilt, and most big stores have them). Stamp a little devil or a dragon and fill with red hots (cinnamon drops).
I have seen people make frapp bottles and fill them with pet treats- cat, dog, even saw one with birdseed once. Might be nice for a pet lover, or that person we all know who feeds all the neighborhood strays and birds...
heres the thing- you don't want to spend tons of money on these LOL so look through your stamps and supplies first, then match up the candy or treats you need to fill the bottle... otherwise you may find a good price on dog treats only to discover you have no pet-themed supplies to craft with. LOL i would do that, save ten cents on cat treats and need $40 in supplies to make a bottle :P
you can fill them with just about anything. Do you want to make 4-packs, 2-packs (theres templates for these sized carriers on scs), or just a single bottle as a gift? With 4 packs, usually you would put seperate things in each bottle, like 1 red candy, 1 green candy, 1 chocolate, 1 marshmallows... with a single bottle you can layer things, and a single big bottle might be nice to say, surprise the mailman or your kid's teacher with.

So cool! We just got a pack at Costco and when I noticed the entire label came off, the first thing I told my DH was "save the bottles!!" I knew right away I wanted to do something with them this season.

What a great list! I had a problem finding someone who drinks it too but kept asking every single person I knew, and turns out one of my home health shift nurses drinks it - she said she needed a good excuse to drink it so she said she was drinking it so I could have the bottles (LOL!!!). I now have enough for all my Christmas gifts!
I know other ladies got theirs on Freecycle and Craigslist

21. Caramel & Candy Apple Kit - the sticks in one jar, caramel candies in another, the mix to make Candy apples in another, and sprinkles/nuts/chocolate chips or whatever you wish in the 4th jar. All they need to add is apples!

Wow - This is totally rocks. I'm always about the design - at my Target they have bulk jelly beans in tons of combinations - you can find combo's that match the colors of your decorated bottle.
For Valentines - definitely goota do the green, aphrodisiac M&Ms - here's a pic:

Expanding on someone else's "bank" idea - you could cut a slit in all four lids and have one bottle for quarters, one for dimes, and nickels, and pennies. Great for kids learning how to save!
OMG Clear Dollar Stamps has the BEST "goodies" stamp set called Sweet Jesus. Sayings like "no Twix, Jesus saves", "mint to be saved", "Jesus is a lifesaver". I have this set and now with the bottles ideas, I'm coming with all kinds of thoughts!!!
Maybe you could do some kind of first aid kit in the bottles? bandaids in one, small tubes of ointment in another, alcohol swabs in another, pain reliever meds in one? Obviously wouldn't be good for traveling though (being in glass bottles).
Someone who is getting started on sewing might like - straight pens in one, mini spools of thread in another, tape measure in one, thimble and needles in one.
The "teacher" type kits would also be great for a secretary's desk - paper clips, rubber bands, candy, pens.
Again - expanding on someone else's idea for coffee lovers - I would do ground coffee in one, powdered flavored creamer in another, sugar or sweetner packets in another, and some chocolate candies in the 4th.
A cupcake decorating kit - sprinkles, gumdrops, pull-apart licorice, red hots (cinnamon candies), m&m's, etc.
Mainly, I've loving these ideas and wanted to sub to the thread. But had to put my 2 cents worth in, lol. ;)

I'm from 'Down Under' so I am not really sure what the bottles you are using are like, but I love all your ideas and will find something I can use to make up some of your sets.
Here's a few more suggestions:
1. a supporter's favourite team set- (football, hockey, basketball, etc) -use jelly beans in team's colours (one colour per bottle), make team stickers/stamps for another bottle- print faces and run through xyron, place small souvenirs- keyring, pens, etc, in team colours attach stickers 'Go Team' or #1 fan. Make team labels for bottles.
2. a message in a bottle set for grandparents, - each family member has own bottle to decorate and fill, writes a note, poem, story or picture; adds a favourite photo; a treat-favourite lolly/candy/lipstick,etc; a handmade : bookmark/fridgemagnet on peg/ pencil with topper, List of personal milestones and achievements for the year. Label each bottle 'Loving wishes from.... '
3. a garden kit- a selection of home dried seeds (herbs, veges, flowers, trees) and instructions for growing each, little laminated tags to identify seedlings, pretty pebbles if it is for an indoor plant.

My husband drinks a lot of Frappuccino. I already saved bankers boxes full, then gave one box of about 25 to the art teacher at my old school. I told dh to stop saving them. Now we're saving again because I have a craft fair coming up. So these ideas are great.
For one of my smaller clubs, I cleaned off the Frap labels and filled the bottles with homemade bath salts, adding a slight mango essence and colored it lightly with orange and red food dye. Then I gave each lady a bottle, and they practiced putting on rubons. They then had a little present for themselves or for giving away. We also tied ribbons on the bottles.
I bought some dog treats from the dollar store: two bags of "people treats" will fill three bottles of Frap bottles. I didn't see any cheap cat treats. If the fill is too expensive, you won't be able to sell the product. And if you're giving it as a gift, you don't want to spend too much either.
Thanks for all the great ideas.

Frapachinno bottles
Where do you get the frapachinno bottles from? Are they the ones you buy at the store and then you just re-use them or is there a place that sell's them empty?
I would like to try using some of them for like coccoa mix but it not being sealed (like when you buy from store) I would think that some people would be a little hesitant about buying your creation?
Thanks

i reuse the store ones, but i don't sell them, just give as gifts to the family. you can use sealed candies if you want to sell the bottles.... or non-food items like golf tees or stationery supplies.
