Hello!
I am just wondering what brand and colors of carstock you are using for your christmas cards this year.
I am looking for a great red and green that is sturdy for cards.
I also want some burgundy and a more vintage color of green.
Please no offense to anyone but
I really am not interested in Stampin Up as I am breaking away from their products and want to branch out to new company products.
I am doing something completely different this year and am very pleased with the results. I am trying to get away from the usual red and green for Christmas. If I do use red and green I use SU real red or PTI pure poppy w/ SU old olive, always artichoke, PTI pure avocado or spring moss.
I've used PTI and SU cardstock in these color combinations w/coordinating patterned cardstock.
PTI chocolate, SU baja breeze & PTI spring moss
PTI chocolate & spring moss & aqua mist
PTI chocolate, sweet sorbet & sweet blush
SU tempting turquoise & only orange
PTI scarlet jewel & spring rain
PTI new leaf & SU pink pirouette
I highly recommend PTI cardstock. It's awesome.

I will be using SU because I have so much of it, but if I needed to buy cardstock to make Christmas cards, I'd be buying a bunch of Gina K.'s cranberry tart, fresh asparagus, and soft sand.

I love Poptone cardstock. It's 100# cover, heavy-weight and comes in some amazing colors. They have three greens that I love - Gumdrop Green, Jelly Bean Green, and Sour Apple Green. Their reds are Red Hot Red and Wild Cherry Red.
I buy them at XPedX and Paper Zone. Hope this helps!
I am a huge fan of Gina K and Papertrey's cardstock!! I am not sure what colors I am using yet this year, but Gina has new Cranberry Tart and All Spruced Up, gorgeous burgundy and dark green colors!!!
I use the American Crafts and Bazzill solid color paper. I like the texture of those. I also use Prism, and WorldWin. I use these brands for all my cards, not just holidays.
I also have every color of Papertrey cardstock and love them. Their Scarlett and Spring Moss would be lovely or even the Avocado.....love love love their papers.
blessings.
Another vote for Gina K papers....you have to get some of these....the quality is top shelf. I need to get going and place another order soon too.
blessings.

I am using SU! and PTI colors that I already have a lot of....BUT if I run into some extra stamping $$ I'll be getting some of the Gina K paper and ink.
