Default stamping on wood

I have some wood products and paper mache products I want to stamp on. I got a black stazon and some sharpies. As I can't bake these items can I simply stamp them with the stazon and color them in???

Thanks
Angela

I have done a few different things with wood...

Unpainted I have just used Stazon - but I am sure you can use classic inks too...I just used Staz-on because that is what I had handy (was doing some tiles at the same time)

On painted wood I have used both Staz-on and classic ink pads - with the classic ink pads the color is not as "bright" and I did end up sealing it with Krylon fixif (I warmed it slightly with my heat gun - not to close or the paint starts to melt - no particular reason just decided to give it a blast with the heat gun)

If you look in my gallery there is a bench I did - the bottom is done with Acrylic paints and foam stamps but the back part is done with SU Stamps, black staz-on and bold brights classic pads

I have used the Craft pads for both wood and paper mache boxes. I did seal them with Krylon spray sealer. They look great!
