JAN VSN RULES!!! I know they stink but we must have some...
JAN VSN Rules RULES! We don't need no stinkin' rulz!!! Well, YES Unfortunately we do have to have them to make things run super smoothly! So here they are!
1. NEW RULE for JANVSN...No DOUBLE ENTRIES Are ALLOWED DURING JAN VSN due to the fact that I have a mandatory People's Choice Award for all of the Diva's to judge...This would not be fair to Double Post because of the extra number of compliments that could be received. Although, I normally am Ok with this idea for this VSN PLEASE REFRAIN or your entry will be DISQUALIFIED. Thanks for understanding!
2. Each player must complete their challenge within the time alloted 30-45 mins (this is the time frame I scheduled between some of the challenges...so you still have the normal 45 just have to catch it when you can, OK?). This is on the honor system so BE HONEST!
3. Each participant will only be eligible for one prize during VSN. WE MUST SHARE THE GOODIES! ;)
4. In the event that a person wins in more than one category, she (or he) wins the first time slot of the ones she's won. For example, she (or he) wins the 6:00, 7:30, and 11:15 rounds; She (or he) only receives prizes for the 6:00 round.
5. Each hostess will choose 1 winner for the People's Choice Category and 2 of their own categories of their own choosing plus a few alternatives in the event of a multiple winner. The Hostess DIVA will notify her runner ups to let them know how well they did in her challenge. I (the VSN Coordinator) will announce the winners of all categories in the VSN FORUM on SUNDAY at approxiamately 6pm cst. The DIVAS and I will work out all the details as fairly as possible before posting.
6. All entries must be posted/uploaded by NOON on Sunday the 8th (CENTRAL time).
7. All entries MUST have "JANVSN( )" as the keywords. THIS is how the judges will find all of the entries for their challenge. EXAMPLE: "JANVSNA" or "JANVSNX." Please use all caps when entering your VSN code into keywords.
8. Hostesses will have from noon on Sunday until 5pm on Sunday to vote for winners of their challenge.
9. Hostesses are not eligible for their round but may participate in all other rounds.
10. I (stampin-sunnychick) am excluded from any winnings (now that really stinks :( :rolleyes.
11. Participating in VSN is completely optional, as is entering any of the challenges (contests). Participants do not need to do all of the challenges to play.
11. HAVE A BLAST!!! There is still more secrets yet to be revealed!!!! Remember VSN Challenges and Inspires Your Creative Minds!!! Now go be inspired and complete some challenges...HAPPY DIVA HUGS TO ALL!!! Let's ROCK THIS NEW YEAR!!!! HAPPY 2006!

I just need to whine a little... Rule # 2 will be awfully difficult to adhere to for this VSN. There are so many bonuses that some of the time slots are reduced to just 15 minutes.

One more thought...The RULES for the PRE-VSN games were posted previously...JIC you need a refresher...
Upload your creations by NOON on Saturday CST! The challenges will be judged by the Downlow Diva's and the winners will be announced during VSN...Hopefully before VSN begins again!!!
No DOUBLE ENTRIES PLEASE...Don't forget to use the VSN CODES IE: JANVSNQ (R OR S).

Yes, but it ends earlier so you can catch up at the end! There is a method to my madness. Really there is...Plus, you do realize that you do not have to complete them all right??? Don't over stamp yourself to death girl! HAVE FUN!!!

You got it sister! You can't have one entry that is for more than one challenge. I prefer that you only enter each challenge once so as not to overload the server. And so everyone gets a chance...Suppose I should add this one as well...;) I think this I will just leave up to the participants...It is a courtousy thing anyway!

Okay, so I've never done a VSN, but we have until Sunday the 20th of WHAT month?? to download, the 20th isn't a Sunday in January (rule 6).
And do we use JANVSN ?? (rule 7)
Oh...this is too confusing...maybe I'll just stamp and see what everyone else does! I can't figure it all out!
My mistake...Sorry Maybe I should have just gone to bed...This Sunday the 8th and it is JANVSN...Got it now??? SORRY I am slacking and need sleep...but I needed to get this done...I reused old rules. HTH

She means this Sunday is the 8th, poor girlie girl has been pouring so much energy out for this she probably can't see straight! It's ok Tracy, we got ya covered, go take a bubble bath and relax for a few!

I think she means 45 minutes from when you start the challenge... If you do not get to the 4:30 challenge until 5:15, then you have 45 minutes (until 6:00 pm to make your card). It is your own guidline from when you start the challenge. I think I am right here... this is why you have until Sunday noon to upload your cards to the gallery. Obviously, there would be no way for the judges to tell if you took 46 - 90 minutes on your card, which is why it is based on the Honor System. RIGHT GUYS????

I did take a bath/shower this morning...Thank Goodness...now I gotta round up some DEW...I drank a 2 liter and 22 bottles of water yesterday!!! No wonder I ran out of energy last night! I crashed fromt he Dew Rush! :confused:

Sorry, I uploaded 2 cards for the Faux Linen challenge. I read the rule thinking it meant to not post more than one COMMENT on the cards, because of the People's Choice Awards! Hope that's not a problem. It's just a great technique and I couldn't stop.
I am sad. I did 10 of these and when I download them to the sight it kicks me off. I have church in the morning so I can't do it then. Oh well, I did a lot of new techniques. Off to bed. It is after midnight here.

That isn't a problem -- what the rule means is not to submit the same card for more than 1 challenge. If you have time you can make as many cards for 1 challenge as you want ;)

I'm a teacher and always tell my students to read carefully but I DIDN'T! Oh my gosh! I just realized, after loading every project I made tonight, that I put the JANVSN- in every TITLE instead of every KEYWORD. Is there any way to switch them???? Sigh. It's not even that late here!!
Tracy, how long will the challenges and their instructions be on the VSN forum? I didn't get to do some and would like to do them later. Since instructions were in some, like the cross over card, I was just wondering.

Ann -- they will always be here (you can find the others VSN challenges if you go back far enough). Hopefully we will get a master list created soon that will link to each challenge so you only need to find 1 thread
