SCS is a fascinating place--with something for every stamper/scrapper, it's got oldtimers, newtimers, short-timers, part-timers and some who just pop in to ask 'What time is it, anyway?'

Holly, I wouldn't have remembered if it wasn't listed under my name ~ apparently, March 2007, and I had only just started stamping that February, I think.
Seems to me that many of the people who posted a lot back then aren't around so much. I was thinking the other day about so many whom I don't see anymore.
It may be partly because there are so many new members all the time and the posts in GS start to get repetitive. Nature of the beast, I suppose ;).
I joined way back in, what I think was 2003 when I was an SU demo. Since then, my user ID has changed and I don't think my original stuff came with me. I know none of my card samples did.

Okay- I think I joined in the summer of 2007- but I have to post to be certain! ;) And I still haven't figured out how to find my number!! I've tried what's been suggested - but I can't see my numer........ if you can - let me know my number! ;)

I go through months when I am on here constantly, and then the school year starts and I get bogged down w/ teacher work. Still a fun place to learn new techniques and everything rubber! I've seen a lot of people come and go too. Still the #1 site for stamping in my opinion!
Debzi...you are # 127,143 Put your curser on your name and then look at the bottom left hand corner where it will say "http://www.splitcoastampers...." Then you'll see your member number after u=...does that help?

I know it!! I'm confident I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am now!!! I have learned so much here and met so many great peeps!!!! :mrgreen: Who knows if I would even still be stamping!!
I've been here since May 2006, am here every single day (except for the 2 times I went on a vacation and didn't have access :(), totally addicted and proud of it!!! :mrgreen:

I agree, I was member 1037. I will never forget how much fun it was to find SCS that first summer. I have made a lot of friends from scs and have learned a lot about stamping.

I think I might not have kept up with stamping at all had I not found SCS. :shock: I probably would have moved on to another craft like underwater basketweaving or something. :mrgreen:

4th January 2005 THIS time. I had joined prior to this but had to rejoin and have not been able to bring the stats prior to that with me.
I usually come to browse and read....and have only just this year decided to join the fray in the forums....posting only a very few times prior to that.
I also cannot see the member number but that is no great drama.

I remember it like it was yesterday. It was before I knew what a blog was. It was JUST after I found out what Stampin' Up was, and what STAMPING was. I thought one set and a black ink pad would pretty much do me for all the cards I would need to make.
The summer I joined SCS was a wash-out. I was addicted. There was no fun-in-the-sun and outdoor activities. I remember there was a VSN a few weeks after I joined and I did every challenge!! wow..
