Hello Everyone! It's the last Monday of July-WOW did this month blow by fast.
I haven't been in a very scrappy mood lately. But the one thing I almost find hard to resist when it comes to scrapbooking is Christmas. I love all the fun products that come out every year for the holiday season and I think I buy every paper pack that's Christmas that I can find. Not to mention all the Christmas stamps, and the Christmas themed Cricut Cartridges. Before you know it, they'll be filling the aisles with this years new Christmas products. Here's where it gets tricky...I haven't used all my stuff from last year and...shhhh!...stamps sets that haven't seen ink for Christmas cards or accents for scrap pages.
So here is our challenge for the last Monday of July:
✔I want you to dig out those Christmas photos from last year or 10 years ago that haven't been scrapped.
✔Then dig out those papers, accents, and stamps that could use some loving and create some Christmas Pages.
✺Now, if you should be one of those lucky people who are all caught up with the past Christmas photos but you still have some of the supplies left then I want you to get a head start on making your layouts for this years Christmas photos.
✺So you would basically put everything together on your page and then just lable some cardstock with the photo size and place it on the cardstock where it would go when you get the photo. Yes, I am giving you permission to submit a page without a photo on it. Sound doable....I think so.
❏For those of you who just can't bring yourself to scrap Christmas right now...I know you need to make some Christmas cards. And waiting till the last minute well, I've done that every year without much success.
❏So, for the very first time in the history of the Inspiration Found Challenge which is totally dedicated to scrapbooking I am giving you permission to make cards for this challenge. And I really want you to make them.
So there you have it... all the different options for the challenge. And remember if you get tired of scrapping Christmas try making some cards for awhile.
Before I give you all the keywords and important stuff there is something you need to know:
Today's challenge will be the last IFC until August 31st. Why? It's called a Summer Break and I think we all could use one. August is the month where families are getting in there last vacations, getting the kids ready for back to school, and even shipping some off to college for the first time which can be a big job. So, with all that going on there will not be a lot of time for creating going on. The good news is that when we get started back with the challenges we our going to hit our one year anniversay when we get to IFC52 and I feel a contest coming on!!!
Now back to this week's challenge:
Please use the keywords IFC48 in the keywords field when you upload your images to the gallery.
You will find all submissions for this challenge HERE
I want you all to have fun with this challenge. Play it as many times as you like. I will be checking in as often as I can. And I want you to enjoy the summer break and come back refreshed and ready to get your scrap-groove on.
Thanks for all you ladies do to keep the IFC challenges going. If it were not for your continued support there would be no challenge.

I think this challenge will be the one to get me finished up with my 2007 album. I have about 20 pictures left and they're all Christmas! I'll try to get some pages started tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiration! :-D

Your welcome Melina. I'm glad I could get you going. I expect this to be the biggest IFC gallery yet. Between catching up on Christmas and getting layouts ready as well as making cards, there will be plenty to do. ;)
Oh Jenn this is a great challenge....like you I love CHRISTmas! The little break sounds good also. This past month was a real challenge for me I made some lousy pages just for the sake of making a page. I am however excited to get some of my CHRISTmas stuff out!!! Thanks for another great one!

I still have my 2008 Christmas pics to scrap, so this is a great one for me too! The break will be good (although I'll miss the fun of checking to see what the new challenge is each week--I love doing that!) But I'm really glad to hear the challenge will return (and I sure hope that includes you too!!)
Thanks Jenn. And a belated birthday wish for you--sorry I missed saying it right on your special day!
I know it sounds crazy but I was hoping you would do a Christmas in July! I finally found some photos for the Then and Now challenge and they're Christmas so I'll be combining them. Thanks Jenn!!
Jenn, sounds likr you were reading every ones minds. This challenge is perfect break and all. Thanks!!!

I did the same thing Patti and I don't like it when I do that. When that starts to happen I know it's time for a break. ;)

Thanks Wendy. I will definitely be back but, I am so looking forward to a month of no pressure. ;)
Oh Jenn, what a great challenge this time! Do enjoy your break from coming up with something new and inspiring for us - I'm sure we look forward to your return, but we can certainly revisit the challenges until then. This has been some very lean times of stamping for me as I start preparing to move. The bad news is that I don't even have a 'yes' on my offer yet, but the good news is I will get to create a whole new stamping space!

Fun Challenge Jennipher, and the break will enable me to catch up on the challenges I missed while on vacation, A trip I'm still recovering from lol. Thanks.
