I just orders a bunch of Copic Sketch Markers for $3.56 from Carpe Diem Store! Free shipping on orders $80 or more. Now that's a Sale!! Offer expires midnight tonight!!!
I can't wait to get my new addition! Did you hear about the 12 new colors? I hope Copic will be at CHA for the supershow (I'll be there both days). I read that Marianne Walker will be teaching the certification class on the 27th at the trade show. Now that's a class I would love to get into!
BTW, I just visited the website and the sale is extended until July 19thy midnight! I have purchased all my Copics (Sketch) markers from them. They are by far the cheapest I've seen.
I'm not seeing the $3.56 sketch markers. They're listed for $4.25 each. Is there a discount code or something? Thanks!

I have never had a problem with their inventory. I always received the markers I ordered and they have never been back ordered. I have placed 4 large orders from them since Jan.
I received my markers in just one shipping day!..........of course I am only about an hour away from them.
When I read about that sale I jumped on it also. Received my pens in two days. But then I am in California. I've already reorganized to include all my new colors in my holders!
Rcvd mine today..................I want to play NOW!!. Might actually think about ordering the next set, just because they're still on sale. We'll see...............
Carpe Diem has pretty expensive shipping costs (at least $12.95, I think), so I don't order from them. I've ordered mine from Oozak.com and they were $4.25 for Sketch and $2.85 for Ciao. And you get free shipping for min. $50 order. You may have to register to get the discounted price. I ordered mine on Monday and got them Wednesday (I'm in Ga right now, not Croatia).

I agree that oozak has the same regular prices and lower shipping costs. I ordered from Carpe Diem only because of the super low prices for the sketch markers. I made sure my order was over $80.
I placed an order at oozak yesterday for a few colors I needed for a class and some marker cases. It was so cool that it keeps the stuff in your cart if you register. I must have changed my mind between Friday and Saturday. I will probably get my oozak order before my carpe diem order since I'm in Michigan and so is oozak.
I can't wait to play.

Funny! I still haven't received my order yet! LOL Well, I am across the map ;o) I should get it this week though.
I only order my markers from Carpe if the shipping is free. I haven't tried Oozak yet.
I am a little disappointed with carpe diem. It took them 4-5 business days to package my order. I ordered it on Saturday, July 11 and it didn't leave their store until Friday, July 17.
I ordered from oozak on Sunday, July 19 and it shipped on Monday, July 20 at 9:00a.m. Their regular prices are the same as carpe diem.

Ok, I know this is going to sound really dumb, but what are Copic markers??
Sorry, I honestly haven't heard this term before..........how are they different than SU markers or any other ones??
They are alcohol based markers and they blend very well. Much better than the SU markers. I used to use the SU markers, but once I tried the Copic markers since this April, I now use them on almost all my card projects. However, keep in mind that you have to use certain type of ink pads to stamp your image in order to color them with Copic markers. I use "Memento" and love the result.
Hope this help. You can see some samples card that I used Copics on my blog if you want. Hope this info help!
Placed my order, copics arrived, very happy with the service, price is the very best i have seen, and i will save my $$$ for their next sale........... thank you, carpe diem
I personally went with Sketch. The Ciao markers are the cheapest but they don't hold has much ink as the Sketch. Once you try the markers, there really no turning back. Take a look at Simple Dreams blog. She explains the difference here.
Okay....if I cave and start obtaining some copic markers (a big IF!), which style should I start with....Original, Sketch or Ciao?
I second the sketch. I started with Ciao and thinking about the cost and then purchased the sketch online for less than I purchased the Ciao at the scrapbook store and really like them much better. The reason is the number/name on the end of the marker. It is so much easier to find what I am looking for. I wish I had known how much I would like these markers and how addicted I would become because I would have just started with the sketch. Hope this helps some.
Hello....not sure if anyone try icopic.com yet but the handling & shipping time is extremely fast. I order on Monday and receive it by Wenesday. Also, don't forget to become a Gold Member to get Free Shipping over $50.00 order.
kitkat55 just like Joseline & stampin fool, I would suggest the Sketch. Even thought is a bit more expensive but it will hold more ink, more colors to play with, and you can use the airbrush system that Copic provide. Overall, Sketch is way much more fun.
Joseline, have you try the new colors yet? If so, what do you think of the new addition? I haven't try them yet and was hoping to see if its worth the try.
Thank you in advance for the answer.
Jen

My birthday is later this month and my gift from hubby is a copic collection. I sure wish I had known about my gift last month, so I could've taken advantage of the $3.56 from carpe diem. Anyone with experience know if they tend to run this special on a fairly regular basis or was that a once in a lifetime sort of thing? If there's a chance it could come back, I'd rather wait a little bit (not TOO long :-) in the hopes that I can get more bang for the buck. Thanks!
