I've been sighing at the sloooowww speed for the past two nights, myself. I figured that maybe I'm not the only one who's finally back after a several week hiatus, getting through the holidays. Perhaps there's an overload of people and it's struggling to keep up?
I was wondering if it was just me too! The gallery has been slow but I hate to complain. I don't really know anything about computers and servers but I was thinking that this site is just so wonderful that maybe there are too many users for the system to keep up. I noticed on the stats that there are over 66,000 members! Yikes! This place is so much fun!!!!!!! Thanks to Daven and his team that work so hard to make it wonderful for us. Happy New Year!

we're just starting to experience the "problem" we always seem to have - if we upgrade servers to handle more traffic, the traffic just grows to max out our capacity again. that's good and bad of course. good that lots of people are here, bad that people have to deal with the frustration of a slow site.
