Hi everyone! My name is Sondra. Would you believe I found out about SCS because of a freak mistake? I think it was meant to be
I've been making my own cards for about 20 yrs, stamping for just under that. Of course, with the job I started 2 years ago, how much stamping have I been able to do? Close to a big fat zero! Although I've been stamping for so long, I know that I have an awful lot to learn. I'm a very simple stamper, and I'm looking forward to trying new techniques!
Welcome! You'll have a blast exploring this site! Where are you from in upstate? I grew up in Ballston Lake and went to Potsdam so I know the area.

Welcome to SCS from Dutchess County! You will learn a lot here and also make friends. I have made lots of friends through this community (online and IRL). Many of them live upstate (Syracuse, Ithaca, Binghampton, etc.)
Here are links to two threads if you'd like to join our chatter and/or go to a shoebox swap in Syracuse this October:

Hi Sondra,
I'm from Kingston but have been living in N. Texas. Grew up and went to school in K so I don't care how long I've been gone-I consider myself from there. I too only found SCS just about 2 yrs ago. It is so addicting. I have to limit myself to a 2 hr a wk looksy or I will be on here all day. Sounds like the ladies from upstate NY have loads of fun. Wish I was there!
