To all those who have unmounted their stamps and used Allene's Tack It Over & Over glue on them, how do you store your unmounteds? I am now in the process of unmounting ALL of my rubber stamps - I want to use the TIO&O glue on all of them, but what do you store them on? I was thinking of getting a bunch of sheet protectors from the office supply store and stamping the images on typing paper, putting the paper inside the sheet protectors and then sticking the stamp on the outside of the protector over the image....... IDEAS????

I have mine in CD cases. I have too many now, and I would really like to move to Univenture binder boxes, and making my own laminated CS to put in them. It seems like this will free up a ton of space in my room. I'm just waiting for $$$ and sales!
I either store mine in CD cases or on the 3-hole punched ez mount boards that go into 3-ring binders. I think there are 3 options of ez mount board strength. I buy the middle-of-the-road - I think these are called stamp n'stor lightweight panels and they're about $1 each - I've gotten deals a few times on eBay for these - these are sturdy and less expensive than the heaviest option. For me, the heaviest option was overkill and I found the lightest weight to be not sturdy enough. Sunday International has these plus other storage options available and has good info if you just want to read about options and these items.
I store mine on clear regular sized (not the slim) CD jewel cases. You can get them from www.rima.com in bulk for a reasonable price. I have been able to fit as many as four sets into one CD case (smaller sets of course). most CD cases have at least two sets in them. I have a CD rack that I purchased from F.Y.E. that holds 400 or so cases for $30. Big Lots also sells a lot of CD racks that hold lots of CDs at reasonable prices.
Also, those white 4 drawer units from Michael's hold CD cases as well. Very nicely in face, but they were a little bit of a pain to assemble.
I would think that page protectors and typing paper would just "flop" around with all the weight of the rubber.
You might consider laminating. I stamp my images on cardstock, then laminate. It is stiffer and can handle the weight
I also found it cheaper than most page protectors. My laminating film is $17 for 200.
U are 100% right about the weight making the page protectors flop around, that is the issue I am having right now! Hence the need for new storage solution, myself.

Good luck!!
Do you have a pic you can show what the stamp set in the CD case should look like? I am having a hard time envisioning this, becuase the stamps are kinda thick w/ the ez mount..
Ps. sorry hope i'm not hijaking your thread, but I am having the same issue.

With EZ Mounted stamps, you can only fit them on one side of the jewel case. If you use ATIO&O on bare rubber you can stick them to both sides of the cases, saving room (for more stamps! WOOT!)

I have mine in acrylic jewel cases that I got from www.calendar-case.com. They're similar to the cases that CDs com in except they don't have the little spindles that hold the discs. They sell a variety of sizes, but I went with the biggest so it would hold the most stamps. The cases I bought are thin enough that when they're closed, they hold a single layer of stamps. I store them in a big CD storage unit along one wall in my craft room.
Are you familiar with Tack 'n Peel by Tsukineko? It is a clear sheet that adheres to your acrylic block and the "grippy" surface holds your unmounted rubber. After unmounting all my stamps, I couldn't bear the thought of having to put TIO&O on all of them. I spent too much time on the project already! JoAnn's sells TnP at $9.99 for a pack of two 4x6 sheets. If the "stiction" (is that a word?) starts to weaken, just rinse the block off with plain water and it's good as new.
Thanks everyone for the comments! And....I wanted to bump this since there is great info here!!

I use acetate report covers (like overhead transparency film but a lot thicker) in binders. I buy the report covers from an office supply store. The nice thing is that I can use the acetate for clear cards as well since its nice and sturdy. I stamp index sheets of all my stamps (well I will when I get them all unmounted and into binders). Then I only have to flip through the index sheets to find the stamp I want, then go to that binder and page and get my stamp. easy.
