Hi, just finished my August cards. They should be in my Christmas album soon. Still hadn't shown up when I last checked but am sure they will arrive. I did all snowmen using recycled cards for the month of August. Now to figure out what I want for next month

Janet- wow! Great job!! Obviously, you didn't NEED this challenge!! ;) Look how far ahead you are! I, on the other hand, still haven't made my JANUARY cards, yet! Keep up the great work!!
I have to say, that I really needed this challenge - if it were not for the surgery and being stuck on the second floor of my house (which is conveniently where my stamp room is located) I would never be so far along....
I will have to add the link when the pictures are approved - it is taking a little longer than I thought it did last time.....
Anyway, I cannot believe that I am so far ahead of myself.... now on to September - I actually started on them, but ended up throwing away what I was working on because it just didn't look right to me.... so back to the drawing board....
Do we do cards for December? Or just through November? Only 4 more months of cards to do - cannot believe that!!!!!!
Here are my August cards. I made 23 of these. 11 for a swp and 12 for me..This is a set from the new catty, Autumn Harvest. I had to turn this into a christmas card!! TFL
Well, after being gone for a while...super busy at work!...I'm on vacation and back. I did my August cards. I made some for a swap and extras for my challenge. The picture is terrible...I will try to take a better one in the morning. I hope you like it...I used Daydreamabella!
there used to be another 2 cards.. but I had..issues.. glasses full of ice and cold liquid sweat.. and the sweat.. oozes all over your craft table..and onto your images..that you can't replace cuz they were given to me by someone who traded for a color wheel...
Not a huge deal as actually these are not my favorite stamps/style but I do regret them being ruined. and I have already long surpassed the number needed for my friends and what few family members I like enough to send cards to, so all of what I am making now is going to the Servicemembers.

Just jumpin' right in!
Now that we are moved into our new home and my little crafting corner is set to get to work, I'm finally getting on the band wagon to get some Christmas cards ready for this year. My goal is to make at least 12 different ones a few each month to catch me up for the challenge. I hope that's okay with you gals, I really need the accountability. Here's my first card for 2009. Let me know what ya'll think . . .
I can't believe I am finished with my cards for August on the second of the month! WOO HOO!
Punches Three Cards - made four of these total. OSW CHF Snowflake cards - I actually made 7 of these, since I only need 6 to bring me to my total of 10 cards for August, I will use the one that I used Night of Navy cardstock in toward my September card total (notice how I left itout of the group photo? Just want anyone to think I am 'cheating'.)
HERE is the group photo to show that I created a total of ten cards.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my cards and thanks once again to Mary for hostessing this FUN challenge! It is SUCH a relief to know I already have EIGHTY cards completed for the holidays! No last minute rushing!
Here's my August Christmas Cards. I'm not posting them to my gallery because they're 100% CASED from a cutie by HobbyDuJour. This was a fun card. I want to find something for inside tieing in the red of the cardinal and the thorns of the holly to Jesus.

here is my card for August.....I did 12 this time. I got this stamp from my MIL. It sat for awhile....then all of a sudden it came to me. I colored the kitties to look like my little guys. I can't believe it took so long to use this stamp!
And I am done for August. All caught up now. Good thing DH went out of town and I was feeling creative. Now I have to get cards ready for my monthy club tomorrow. So much stamping so little time.
I think next year I am going to do fewer cards per month cuz I don't think I need 120 cards. We'll see.

On the ball this month
Got the good and bad news situation.
Hubby wants to send out cards to ALL relatives and some of his business associates. So I've got to bump my goal number up to 100 now and make some planning adjustments. I'm going to work at some kind of christmas card each week until Thanksgiving as our cards are mailed out the saturday after that. Until today I had 30 completely made minus the two cards I will post today. Drum roll please . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
With the two designs (8 of one and 6 of the other) I have a total of 44 completed now.
Looks as if a good few people are still doing well with hitting their targets! I am so pleased, because while June and July were an uphill struggle, I feel I am on the home straight now.
I have these 5 - while one of them doesn't have a Christmas greeting on it, I am pretty sure that is what it will be used for. And if not - well, I am two cards up on my goal already from the last two months. CAS Christmas Catch of the Day Dashing Through the Snow Fuzzy Snow People It's Snow Time
DH can't believe we need more than 48 cards, he says if he were a bachelor he wouldn't be sending any.
I am finally caught up I think! I did 10 of this card and had a great time playing with my Nesties! I don't use them as often as I'd like since they aren't SU....anyway, here's my card.... CCC09 Winter Post by zajamije4 at Splitcoaststampers
