Now that Santa has brought me the Tall Tales Alphabet, I've realized the craft inks will create a better image. SAB is the perfect time to get myself a present for my present! Which color family of craft spots do you use the most often???
If you can only get ONE, then probably the SS's, but only for the added bonus of being able to do light colors on dark cardstock. But really, you need them all! (Two SAB sets....)
I can't give you any advice on which color group to choose as I also have them all. I have heard that the soft subtles will need reinking soon if not immediately. If you are planning on buying the soft subtles consider buying the reinkers too!!

Why do you say that the craft inks will creat a better image? I don't have any craft ink at all. Can you convince me that I need it? I have been thinking about it. I was told that it lasts longer for scrapbooking. Is that true? How long does the regular ink last? Are there things that I can stamp on with craft ink that I can't use regular ink on? Can you use craft ink on the tile coasters?

Light colors of craft ink will show up on dark card in a way that the classic ink pads won't. They don't fade over time so are better for scrapbookers and they stay wet for longer and so are perfect for embossing.
I love my craft spots, I have the EE and RR and have the others on order. They are just the most gorgeous rich, dense ink that I just love.
It all depends on what colors you like and use the most. I have all the full size pads in Craft and Classic b/c I like to have all the options - but my fave color family is the Bold Brights.
I bought all four in November, also, which is very unusual for me. I don't usually spend that much. I love the Soft Subtles and the Rich Regals the most.
Rich Regals is my favorite color family overall, and the Soft Subtles on dark cardstock are just beyond rich and yummy. I've started liking colors in the craft ink that I never liked at all in classic ink. :-)
I have used my Soft Subtle craft spots a ton over the last month and still don't need any reinkers. I will be purchasing the reinkers eventually, but probably will wait as long as I can--maybe till the new catalog comes out.

I'm glad to hear that your soft subtles craft spots are nice and juicy. Maybe the problem was corrected
