I am a real klutz when it comes to different techniques for tying and attaching bows to cards. Does anyone have tips? Does anyone know of tutorials for the tying and the use of bows on cards? I see so many brilliant ideas, and when I try to do them myself, they lack something. Thanks.
Blessings,
Judy

tie your bow upside down...right over left...bunny ears...left over right. This will give you a nice finished bow. Tieing a knot is the same...right over left...left over right. As far as going around a card...tie your bow or knot first...then snip the ends to match the size you need. lay the ends around the back of a layer of cardstock...tape down...tape layer down to your card. HTH.
Here's one of the best tips I've come across for tying ribbons. This works great for thin ribbons - about 1/4". I learned how to do this from a stamping friend and loved it so much I wrote a tutorial! Here it is - enjoy!
There are some great ideas here! I am terrible at tying bows, so this gives me a few ideas to try out. So far the technique I like most is on my Cupcake Birthday card in my gallery! Is more just punching and feeding and it looks like a cool bow!

I recently purchased tthe "Bow Easy" as well. I, however, have not had time to play with it before, and now am unable to until the sprained wrist heals...no playing for me for a while.

I found a quick and easy way to make a bow and did a video.
