It's time for our 6th challenge in the Color by Theme challenge series inspired by an article in the May 2009 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.
Purple Possibilities:
Whether you prefer indigo, violet, or another hue of purple, this notice-me color will make the following themes all the more majestic:
~Dance recital (Pink is so last season-bring on the purple tutus.)
~Sporting event (Rah, rah, rah sis boom bah! Gooooo Purple!)
~Music performance (instruments tend to be balck, white, brass or silver--all colors harmonious with this versatile shade.)
The Challenge: Try using your favorite shade of purple on one of your layouts this week. You can use one of the themes suggested above or come up with your own "Purple Possibility".

I did make a page Sat for the Sketch challange using purple!
Purple is a hard color to use with 2 boys, I'll have to see what pictures I have to go with this color
Purple! Where are those high school pics when you need them (go LBJ Jaguars!).
This will be another fun challenge - your pages are certainly inspiring!

I have really enjoyed all on the collage' LO's that Wendy and everyone has shared this month. This is my page for the today's Inspirational Color "purple" challenge.
Also I decided to use it for the "Then & Now" challenge. This is my Great-Great Grandpa's family. The single pictures are of their Wedding and then 50 years later at their anniversary party.
love the color theme challenges but, purple is going to be a real stretch. Even when pattern paper has purple on it, I tend to shy away from highlighting this color. I'm going to give it a try. Thanks, for inspiring me to step out of our comfort zone.

Well, I tried to upload my images, but they don't seem to be in this gallery yet. I'm new to this so it might be that I'm missing something... They do show up in my gallery here: mama2four's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I did this just last week, so maybe I felt the purple inspiration just a bit early!

Since I've got a snow day today with the northeast storm raging outside, I decided to play with a new template I got from Jessica Sprague and do my DGS 2005 Halloween pics. Did it as a DPS and it's turned out as a Purple Possibility!
