Default How do you do a reverse corner punch...

for lack of a better description! The look reminds me of a rounded corner punch but inverted. I see a lot of square mats with the corners rounded inside (is that a better description?) and a little brad in the punched out area.

Thanks for helping a newbie!

I think the ticket corner punch is used. Here is a sample card (not by me and absolutely gorgeous, btw):

You can do this with a circle punch, too. Just put the corner of your cardstock in so that you bite out a quarter circle, IYSWIM.

Chelle, I wondered a long time how they did that. Finally, someone gave up and asked. I don't have the ticket or the slit punch. :( I'm going to try my luck with a circle punch so you may see some quirky, off-sided half moons. ;)

Thank you, TeeGeeDee for showing us that awesome card! I do hope she frames it. It is a work of art!
May God bless, Sandi

I mark the spot on my circle punch with a red sharpie to get a consistent faux-ticket punch look.

I put a picture up here: http://sewcrazy.wordpress.com/2007/1...h-alternative/

HoosierMama, thanks for the link to your site. I see what you've done and I'm going to try that. I have enough punches already! I love how some people are so clever with their punches!!

Thanks for sharing!

I use the little circle punch as well. And if I layer more than one piece of paper and want them all ticket punched, I line up the corners and punch them all at the same time.
