Have you checked the Cuttlebug FAQ thread? They list a lot of sandwich combinations that might help.

For me, I just have to play with it. You cut the first shape and then carefully peel it off and put on the other shape and play with your sandwich to get it to work. I know, I am know help at all. ;) Like I said---I just play and it works but remembering how to do it the next time can be a challenge for me too. But I just keep playing with it until it works. Some totally talented person can probably share a tutorial with you---or at least I anxiously hope so!!!

For me, I simply pair up the plain circle die with the scalloped circle die 'before' ever cutting the cardstock. i.e. I try to pair up the 'dies' before ever cutting the cardstock. I'm sure it depends on which dies you have available.

Once you do find the correct "way to do it," You might want to write it down in a notebook.

I find that keeping a "CRAFTING NOTEBOOK" is a really good way to keep all those "sandwiches," "best kind of paper to use," "best on-line sources," and all of those kinds of things I need to remember. I use an old looseleaf binder with some dividers so I can categorize things. With the looselaf, I can punch holes in things I have found and printed out and then add those to the binder also.
