Good morning. I'm your guest hostess this week while Julia is getting a little R&R on a mini vacation for Canada Day.
You've probably heard of dumpster diving (we used to call it picking through the trash) where you never know what usable item you might find that you didn't have to pay for. Hopefully, you won't need to dig in the garbage today, because you probably already have some on hand. This week I want you to use corrugated cardboard on your card or project. Use it as a smooth, solid surface, or remove one outside layer to reveal the ridges inside (see tip below). Ink it, stamp on it, paint it, cut it, tear it, emboss it, whatever... just have fun. This is a great way to use a box that's been damaged during shipping.
TIP: An easy way to remove the outside layer of corrugated cardboard is to mist it lightly with water and let it sit for a few minutes, then peel off the outside layer.
When you upload, remember to use the keyword WT225 and add a link to your card here in this thread.
Hmmmm....do I have a junk box laying around??? Then, what to do???? Will have to think on this one, but I guess that's what a challenge is all about, huh?? Good one!!
This sounds fun!! Thanks for a unique challenge. I'll have to put my thinking cap on while I work today and see what I can come up with later. I need a birthday card for my dad. This might fill the bill nicely. Hmmm . . .

When I first saw the Way to Use It challenge listed, I thought it was going to be for this kind of creative thing, not just colors, etc.
I love this idea. Thanx so much for thinking of it!

Just thought I'd let you know that this is what it is usually like.
Julia has been doing some different things lately. You can go back
and look at some of the older challenges and see what all we've done in the past.
Enjoy!
Here's a thought "outside the box" using my noggin while I am supposed to be working .... LOL
use kraft cs and layer with 1 flat, 1 crimped & folded tight, and top it with another flat layer.
How's that for sneakin' around?

Corrugated Koala
We had thunder and lightning last night, and today one of the suburban rail stations is closed due to flooding, and it's barely stopped raining - all of which is to say I had more trouble taking a good photo than I did making this card .
Here is another one. Had to do it after reading the title of Markie's Mom's card. Here's my Guilty Kitty? card.
Sorry that the image is a little blurry...looked much better when it was small :0)
