Its my turn to post the Limited Supplies Challenge (LSC223) this week, so here goes!
Your challenge this week is to make a one layer card in a summer theme.
Use any embellishments you want. One layer means your card base is your card! You may paper piece if you just can't stand that one little 'ole layer. ;)
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Youre done!

We've been shedding layers here all week - today is time to start putting them back on as it's clouded over.
But this sounds perfect for a busy day for me. I find the idea intimidating but I've done two already this week without trying. It's when you're trying to achieve it that it gets harder, LOL.
Thanks, Jeanne .

This was FUN. Don't think I've ever managed to make a card before work before, but the idea was in my head, the stamps and ink were on the table - and why not get up and make it!
Back after work
Oh my, this is gonna be tough, but I have an idea brewing. Thanks, Jeanne!

Thanks, Jeanne, for lighting the load. One layer cards are so much more mailable!!!LOL I got a change to pull out some of my favorite old stamps for this one. I wish SU still made these kinds of stamps. I miss them.

HERE is mine. I used the "pullin' pastels" technique from Stamptv for my background and stamped the image directly onto the chalk using a VersaMark pad. I tried to link the video tutorial but it doesn't work. You can go to www.stamptv.ning.com and click on Techniques.

We have been shredding layers here as well. It has been so hot here....fishing and swimming is what we have been doing. Horse back riding yesterday...today, is free day for me...I'm pooped! Maybe I'll get to play today. Thanks for the challenge.

Okay, I've fooled around long enough... Why is it that simple takes just as long as involved sometimes?! I wanted to make a set of four, but I've settled on only two - issues, issues, issues! I can't even manage a decent pic today, for whatever reason! My effort is here, regardless: Krafty Fluttering Frames by gregzgurl at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for looking! (It was a fun challenge, in spite of my issues - thanks, Jeanne!)
Here is another one I have to blame Faith for this (markie's mom) I just thought her card was so great I had to try it. Thank You by gm2785 at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for looking. Gloria
