using an EK Success glass mat with the Slice?

Has anyone used the Slice cutting machine on one of the large EK Success glass cutting mats? I'd get the Slice cutting mat, but the store I order from is out of stock, and told me the EK Success one is similar.

Before I order, I wanted to be sure. I tried my Slice on another glass cutting mat I had and it messed up the blade, so I don't know if the Slice mat is specially textured or something to work with the Slice specifically.
