SCS Sisters (SU Only Blog Group): CHALLENGES

Hi all!

Now that we have a full group, we can get started with the challenges. I probably sound like a broken record (if any of you remember what that is *he*) but do send your ideas my way for any challenges that you can think of.

I thought I'd start this new thread just for challenges to make it easier to find.

For our very first challenge:
* create a monochromatic card using SU colors (of course). You may use 2-3 shades/hues within the same color family.
* embellish as you wish
* combining challenges is highly encouraged

How did I miss this post? Hmm.....I am getting an order in tomorrow from SU! (I finally broke down and bought a Big Shot). Once I get things unpacked, I will create a card and post it on SCS and my blog.

Go to the top of the page, click on "Thread Tools" and a drop down box will appear. Click on "subscribe to this thread." You can then choose how you want to be notified. I always choose "instant notification by email" so I know whenever there is a new post.

So sorry for the long absence. Things have finally wound down and I'm stamping again.

Here's the challenge for this week:
* create 2 cards
* the cards you make will either have
a) the same layout, using different colors OR
b) the same colors with different layout or layout variation

Eeek! The day went by so quickly but I made it for today *whew*

Here's the challenge for this week:
* create a card or project that would fall under one of the three SU Contest Categories for this month
..........Perfectly Patterned - projects showcasing SU DSP
..........Orange You Glad? - projects using/featuring any SU orange
..........A Bit of Sunshine - summer themed projects
* contest entries require use of only CURRENT SU products
* submit to SU if you would like (need to be received by April 30th for consideration)
