Hi everyone. As we all have heard, April showers bring May flowers, but what are we supposed to do in April? Just wait around? I don't think so. Many areas already have flowers blooming, but if your location doesn't, here's a little project that will fill your home (and hopefully the mailbox of a friend) with wonderfully blooming thoughts.
Today we have a project that will have the flowers blooming, whether rain or shine, snow or thaw. I saw an adorable project by Stephanie Luman where she created this adorable Flower Pot Pocket Card, and I loved it so that I wanted to share it all with you. Stephanie has some wonderful directions to create this project which can be found HERE.
Anyway, you will find these really easy to create and a fun project. I'd love to see how you creative ladies interpret and modify this project...I even suspect that some of you may not use flowers at all. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Each week I'm truly amazed at your ingenuity.

And remember to use keyword TLC215 (no spaces) when you upload your project so that it will be added to the appropriate album.
HINT FOR NEXT WEEK: Save a soda (or pop - depending on where you're from...lol) can.
Oh - I wasn't going to check. Just back from the dentist, and I was going to be good and do the housework...but that looks like FUN.
As for next week, we don't drink pop - or soda, or any other name :(
I'm sure one of your neighbors would be willing to donate one for your cause.

This is such a great project. I give a class every month to a group of ladies and I just know that they would love to make this. Thanks for all of your creative ideas!! I will be making this soon.
I feel your pain! I'm going to the shower to get ready for my 8 hours of drudgery...lol At least I can wear jeans to work today. It's opening day in St. Louis Cardinal's Country, and so the entire town is in celebration...lol

Will be back later with mine.
Snow is in our forcast in Ohio this week....so we can make paper flowers bloom !! FUN

Love the card can't wait to get home and make it for my son & daughter in law's Easter card.. it's raining (with thunderstorms AND snow predicted here) so no baseball will be played here today - but I certainly wish that my boss would allow jeans to celebrate opening day.
I love this pattern thankyou for sharing and i think this will be one I create for teachers to say thankyou for planting the seeds of knowledge in my children ;) thanks again

I just saw this last week and thought I should do one. I'll have to give it a try.

Hi! Wow!!! GREAT and COOL technique! I've never done one until now!
I got to used my Copic Airbrush, again! Speedy the Cat and Markie LOVE that thing! They sit at the dining room table and make scenes! It's great to watch Speedy the Cat as he bats markers to Markie! LOL!
Awesome challenge Lynn. I just found this flower pot yesterday and had it marked on my "To Make" list and so will definitely get to this today. Thank you Lynn!
I just love this challenge. I have some homemade seed paper that I will try to incorporate. I`m at work now, but when I get home, the creating will start. Thanks so much for the info.
