I got that same deal about a 6 weeks ago and it was great. Their service is wonderful and speedy shipping. I sold some of mine to stamping friends to defer the cost of spending so much at one time. This deal makes the snail cheaper than the ATG wlhich I never purchased due to its size. I like the feel of the snail in my hand, much easier for me.

Does anyone know if all the adhesives are the same size? I looked at the ones the OP purchased, but they are different than the ones I currently own. The ones that are like the ones I own are labeled "craft" and they are selling for $2.10. Still a good deal since they are $4 at my Hobby Lobby, but if I could get the $1.84 ones, that would be even better. Please advise. Thanks!

I am not sure they would fit.. if it is the same brand tombo they should.
DUH! I just called them and asked and they do not fit into the same holder. I hope this helps someone else...

If I were you I would just go out and buy 1 of the mono adhesives then you can order these from now on. They have this sale every now and then and that is when I stock up. I have about 30 on hand right now and will place an order next time they do this deal. Hope that helps
That's what I did. Can't get them locally, but I bought one dispenser and a bunch of the refills. Even with buying the dispenser for $3.50 or so, I'll still come out ahead. I'm curious, though, what is the difference between the mono and the craft? They both say permanent. Is the craft acid free and the mono not?
I ordered the $1.84 Tombow refills on Friday. then I saw the talk about them not fitting and about had heart failure. then I looked at the number on the refill in my dispenser right now and it was the same number as the $1.84 refills at Penwa.
My refills came TODAY! AND.......... They fit my dispenser just fine.
Just to update. My box came (and I had ordered a new dispenser because I thought the refills wouldn't fit in my existing dispenser). I'm excited to have all my new adhesive! Guess what, though?!? My old dispenser is exactly the same as the new one. So, if you have a craft dispenser, it works just fine. I'm actually glad to have two because I frequently have my DD "helping" me.

OK, I hope this doesn't sound stupid... what kind of adhesive is this exactly? Is it the same as SU's SNAIL adhesive? I've been getting this and really like how strong the bond becomes after a few minutes. This seems like a really good deal if it's a comparable product. TIA for the info/advice.

I am doing a bulk order on Monday, the would be 2.00 each and shipping will be actual depends how many you want, but I would imagine that 1st class for a couple bucks or if you wanted more than that, then it could for priority mail or flat rate depending what is cheaper. I think it is about 4.80 for a priority box up to a pound.

After a little googling, PENWA.com came up with the best deal.
I bought 25 perm. Tombow mono adh refills [$1.81 ea] and 4 of their liquid mono multis [$2 ea] for a grand total of $51.65. Free s/h over $50. And the MONO code did save me $1.60 before that grand total.
Hi! Just want to thank you for this post. I have noticed over the last few months that my Michael's often has no refills, and when they are "stocked" they only have two refills on the shelf. So I had a heck of a time finding refills last minute to finish my Christmas cards. I am going to place an order at Penwa so I am all stocked up for the new year!
I use my ATG 714 for larger areas but I bought the SU Snail to use for small areas such putting a 1" circle on a scallop. Do these Tombow refill fit the SU Snail?

I just ordered a bunch of these. thanks so much for passing along this link! My Michaels' and A.C.Moore often are out of these refills and when they do have them they are $3 a piece at least.
