New Saturday Scrapbook Challenge Hostess
I have recently been in contact with MamaK, and StampySister, and we have all agreed that I will take over the Scrapbook Challenges. I thought I would introduce myself. I am so excited to be stepping in MamaK & Stampysister�s shoes! I hope I can generate more interest, and get this challenge fired up again. I promise to be as dedicated and work as hard as they did. All you have to do is check in for the challenges and play along!
My name is Cindy B. and I live on the Westcoast (I can�t say exactly where as I am a Secret Sibling) I am married, and have 2 wonderful step kids. I am an active SU Demo. I have a downline and was promoted to Supervisor in the early fall. I have taught scrapbooking, and have always cherished putting my memories into keepsake albums.
I used to own an online scrapbooking store, but closed it when I became a SU Demo, as it was a conflict of interest. Since closing my store, I find myself making more and more cards, and less scrapbook pages. Therefore I promise to devote myself to this thread religiously! Not only will it kick my scrapbooking back into gear, hopefully I can generate new interest and satisfy all of you wanting to do the challenges.
This is what I am going to do. Each Saturday (or late Friday night) I will post the new sketch challenge AND Scrapbook Page Challenge for the week. I am going to try and trigger as many interests as possible. I will include a 12 X 12 challenge. This may or may not be double page layout, but feel free to make them 2 pages and incorporate them into an 8-1/2 X 11 Page! Get creative! I will also post a technique, color, theme or various other specific challenges. You can incorporate those into the Sketch, or just create your own page with the second challenge. That way there should be something that interests everyone. As an added treat I will also post a quote or saying each week! I just know that is something everyone will love!
If you have any ideas or would like to see a specific challenge please feel free to post it here, and I will see what I can do! Let�s get excited ladies!!! Please post in this thread and help me keep it up top!
We will start this Saturday with SC# 24 (Sketch Challenge) and SBC#1(Scrapbook Challenge)

Thanks so much Cindy. I love having sketches. I can't upload my results, but I do love playing along. I'm going to a crop next Friday night, so it will be nice to have a couple new sketches to take along.

Great I'm looking forward to it. I try to catch up on old challenged since most were posted before I found this site but it's nice to have that drive to get it done each week. As it is I started a few challenges, was held up because of the computer, but now that it's fixed, I still haven't touched it. Maybe I'll incorporate the color etc challenge with the previous challenges. I really have to get moving, I'm two years behind on one scrapbook and 5 years behind on the other. Yikes!

I'm so glad stamp_a_licious has agreed to do this. My life is getting kinda crazy and moving in multiple directions right now. Thanks for doing this. I hope you will start a storm as I think scramping is truly a neglected venue.

Ok, I couldn't wait, and seeing as it has been a while for some of you, I decided to TREAT you all and post the challenges a few hours early. It is, however Saturday in 4 hours (where I live) hee hee!

I'm excited!! I just got some rolls developed and I NEED to scrapbook. I, like you, have been making more cards than pages, and the whole reason I got into stamping was to scrapbook...
I'll be watching for hose great challenges.

Hello!
Well, I'm new too Cindy Lou Who! I've been a "gazer" on here for a while, but have not really paticipated in things, so this is my first week to try the challenges and they have been so much fun! I will be getting started on this one too! I love to scrapbook, but seem to never get much time to do it and I think this would be a great way to start! I to have put scrapbooking off. as of this spring when i got interested in stamping. and lost my mind and put out lots of money into my new love of stamping. glad to here scrapbookings back. I think we all can scrapbook and incorporate stamping with it.

I just looked at your wonderful page,I want to get started, and I may even get brave enough to and TRY to post my finished masterpiece! I'm a step-mom of two teenagers, I just got back from a wonderful 2 week cruise, and on top of that I have a new puppy......all ready to scrap.
