Probably my Expedit bookcase in my craft room. I love it!
Nice. Unfortunately, I have to give up 1/2 my stamp room for a guest bed so I don't have the room for the shelving unit. I'm going to have to think up on the wall storage. What's that hanging on the wall on the right side? an ink pad holder?
Probably my Expedit bookcase in my craft room. I love it!
Someday we will have IKEA here (2010!) and I will get on of these... someday...
ETA: I love anything storage from them! My LR furniture is all IKEA, well almost all, and they have great plastic storage containers for food (but I use them of craft stuff) really cheap! I wanna say $4 for an enormous set of containers.
I love the Bygel rods for my punches - got 3 short ones the first trip and hung them on my pegboard wall - went back and got 2 of the longer ones to mount on the overhead beams in my basement - Finally I have enough storage space for all my punches
Nearly everything in my craft room that is not SU! is Ikea!
I had to drive for 2 hours each way until last month when they opened one in my home town - YAY!
There are pics at the top of my blog, but I would say my favorite large item would be my cupboards, with pull out storage. My favorite small items are my spice jars which are filled with buttons!
My most recent purchase are file holders for all my SU! paper.
My favorite is my glass top desk. It says love in a bunch of different languages in white on the clear glass. So even though it is large, it doesn't overwhelm my space since it's mostly clear glass. I have white supports that have storage in them. I put pink boxes from Ikea also that match the boxes in my Expedit.
My son just moved to NYC and spent 5.5 hours shopping for furniture at Ikea - took a subway and bus to get there. Not sure how much he spent (for that much time, it must be alot!) - but my kids always buy stuff there. The last time we went they were giving away free breakfast. Always a fun place to go1
They just opened one in Charlotte. I have to go to my son's graduation and the next day I'm spending in Ikea. I wonder if he would even notice if I wasn't in the audience - its such a big center.....
I have one of the original Ikea's near me....love it...storage containers and wicker baskets. I recently bought one of their drafting tables as a crafting desk. I, also, have a piece in my living room that DH's calls the Ikea Piece. It is actually a DR buffet. It has open spaces for knick knacks, 4 drawers and 2 sets of shelves with glass doors. Very Very Pretty. Of course, DH and I almost wound up in divorce court trying to assemble it...a friend had to come over and rescue us! :o)
I went to the new one in Charlotte on opening day!! hehe I spent wayyyy too much money.. but I loved it all!! my fav. thing I bought was actually my computer chair!! lol
I am sad I am so far away from it now.. but I am glad I got to go to one!!
My DH and I could spend a fortune in IKEA; while modern swedish isn't my decorating style overall, in a studio/art room/office it is definitely my cup of tea with its functional style.
I love my Bygel rails. I have the long and the short ones, and I hung baskets from them AND store the punches on them. I also bought a lazy susan that my essential tools tote sits on so I can easily spin it about and get to either side of it. I also have 2 wire basket shelf things that are suppose to be for the laundry room. Those work great for my SU wood mounted stamps.
I have pictures of my scraproom in my gallery from last year (I've added quite a bit since) but you can see the rails and baskets.
I still want one of their Traktor chairs (?) and the Expedit bookcase.
The nearest Cdn IKEA is 4hrs away, but there is one in MI about 1 3/4 hrs from here. My MIL and I go every once in a while.

Reason: forgot about basket shelves.
Oh my goodness, I LOVE IKEA!!! I have the bookcase, which I love. I also really like their magazine holders - funky colours and very inexpensive. I store my stickers and such in them. I store most of my kids' toys in their plastic bins, and I have the cute funky coloured round rugs in their rooms. I have IKEA in every room in my house! Very inexpensive, fun and functional
Oh my gosh - you mean only ONE item??? LOL, I love the glasses we purchased. I know it isn't a crafting item, but I love the design and interlocking style.
I also like my Flarke bookcases and LOVED my little halogen desk lamp.
Karen from Art Declassified swears by their $1.99 kitchen scissors for cutting rubber and such. I saw the scissors in action recently and I want some! I can't remember the name of the maker, but if you search IKea for kitchen scissors, you'll find them.
I haven't been to the one here in Charlotte yet but I plan on visiting soon! If money were no object (but it is!) I would revamp and outfit my stamp room with Ikea goodies, but I hay have to settle for a few small storage items.
I bought the magnetic strips that hold knives so that I could store my nestabilities on them, and I really loved the old silverware caddies that they had...I use mine to store my Copics.

Your craft room is awesome!!
Off to check if you can order online from Ikea. The closest store from here is about 3 hours away the last time I checked. :(
ahhhhhhhhh there are no ikea's in Wisconsin. The closest is by the Mall of America in Minnesota :( I see they do have free breakfast this weekend though... lol
I love everything I got at Ikea! I got the small Expedit bookcase, with the Kassett boxes, and bunch of the bygel rails and baskets. You can see pics of everything HERE on my blog.
As far as non stampin stuff, I got a great cheese grater, some cutting boards, feather pillows, and umbrella and some cookies ;). Wonderful prices on everything! Seriously they have the best ginger snap cookies I've ever had! I'm literally getting at least 10 boxes next time I go (they are only $1).
Oh, and make sure you have plenty of time to shop! That store is enormous!! I can't wait to go back. Luckily this time it will be only a 2 hour drive instead of 4 since there is on in NC now .

I love your idea of shelving for the stamp sets. I get tired of digging through the piles for the one set I want to use.
I buy fabric there too. Do you sew? they have delicious fabric.
I also got my kids a train set there WAY cheap.
I love Ikea. I have a small car and two kids t hough and it's a ways, so I've not been able to get any of the larger items.
I got a toilet brush for a dollar there, it's a cool shade of green. They have hangers that look like a dog's butt, like you hang something on the dog's tail. I'm sure I need those for some room.

I love their jars for storing stuff. I have several different sizes--I use the spice jars for storing acrylic and other small alphabet letters and some medium size jars to sort embellishments by color and I have a large jar for silk flowers. Then I have their fira drawers for chipboard alphas and embellies......
