I am going to get fired...oh well! more time to stamp.
I love this website. I found it a few weeks ago. I can't stop looking at it. I am going to get fired. Well, maybe I exaggerate, I am the boss. My boss is only in my office once a month. But still, how can I tell my staff to quit playing on the net. When it is all I do lately.
I love the website. I have gotten some wonderful ideas from all of you. I have been stamping for about 2 years and a SU demo for about 5 mos. I had to become a Demo, mine moved to Idaho. She used to be one of my staff. The other girls would laugh at us, said we were obsessed. The brown guy was coming nearly every day.
I am so glad I found a bunch more obsessed stampers. I feel "almost" normal amongst you. LOL
Hey ladies! I'm so glad that I'm not the only!! I'm sitting here at my desk drinking my diet coke and soaking up my favorite website in the world while I have a huge to-do list sitting next to me. One of my many checks throughout the day! Who can resist!
You gals are lucky you can have this site up at any time. I have to reserve it for breaks or I would be fired! LOL Sometimes I sneak a peak when it is slow here though. :oops:
I'm probably going to get fired too!!! I'm on this a good part of the day (off and on...I can't get away without doing SOME work!). Good thing my monitor is facing away from the entrance to my office...this way no one knows what I am doing!
Fired? They can't discriminate like that! We have a disease...Stampidus!!
I have to leave mine up or I will go crazy! I have this site and SU site up all day long. IF for some reason I have to leave the computer, I am sure to put up some office oriented site up like Staples!! LOL

Thank goodness! I thought Oh my some poor misunderstood fellow stamper was gonna lose her job b/c she is addicted to this place and then I thought I would have to come over and kick your boss' butt until he saw it was a requirement (like smoking breaks). How could a boss discriminate? If smokers get smoke breaks we stampers get SCS breaks.
My dh told me he was gonna fire me the other day cause he came home and I was alternating between the puter and the kitchen table which by the way, was covered in scraping and stamping items. Dinner wasn't ready, laundry wasn't done, dd was nowhere to be seen...I knew where she was...she was at letter F's house. lol (dd is horrible about learning names...she calls her friend Alana letter F(Alana lives at Apartment letter F)drives me nuts) So anyway, he said I was fired....lol I told him who was he gonna get to replace me? No one was gonna put up with him like I do. I told him to go ahead and fire me so I can collect Unemployment, aka, alimony! lol Needless to say, I was not fired. And we had leftovers for dinner.

I may be in the same boat as you! And it's going to get worse - dh is on track for a 'package' from his current employer, and so spending the next 3 weeks looking for a new job from home. He's now 'on to' my SCS addiction!
I will have to keep your clever responses in mind, just in case.

I WISH I could keep SCS up all day at work. They monitor the network usage and what sites we hit. Then, there's a report that goes to our CIO about the top 10 or 25 users! :( I'm sure I'm one of them. Good thing I'm on his good side..... but I'd like to keep it like that!
Even with that said, I'm still on this site SOOOOOOOOO much!
Mel you are so funny. I am about to wet my pants laughing so hard at your response about your DH. I'll have to keep that in mind for my dh. You know, that's just in case I ever need it. He did tell me the other day when I got home from work that the computer was calling my name. So needless to say, I dropped everything and came to console my computer. He also said maybe I should get a laptop that I can carry around with me at all times. Hmmmm, not a bad idea.
I do watch SCS throughout the day when it is slow. We are monitored also, but I don't feel that I am doing anything too terribly wrong. Besides, two people in my office use all the SU products and they go to this site as well. Yeah!!!
I have the priveledge of working at home a few times a week and find that I would rather stay up late and work and get up early and work...and play all day stamping and surfing this site.
I am going to get fired...oh well! more time to stamp.
