It's Vegas baby!
I LOVE Vegas! What a great city full of so much excitment! I am also struck by the beauty of not only the city but all of the wonderful hotels. The Bellagio hotel is one of those. Take a peek at the lobby.... bellagio-hotel-lobby-picture.jpg belaggio1.jpg
Don't you love the beautiful glass flowers that line the ceiling? I think they are amazing! My challenge for you is inspired by these beauties.
The challenge: Create a card using a transparency. The trick? You MUST use flowers in your design somewhere. ...and above all else....Have fun! Keep it EPLS (that's easy peasy lemon squeezy).

OK--guess I'm doing this one later! I have acetate, just can't seem to find it in the mess at the moment. Off to get some soup started for supper and to take a pic of my first challenge card. This is fun!!!

I will never forget the first time I walked in the lobby of the Bellagio. My mouth was wide open in amazement. There is nothing like looking at a life size bouquet of Chihuly flowers! With them all being on the ceiling I had to have my DB stand right behind me while I took pictures, so that I wouldn't fall over backwards!

So, now on to round two..... Great Challenge! I love The Bellagio hotel, my DH and I have been there many times. We love to walk around and see all the new stuff...

Hmmmmmm....makes sense....it doesn't look like it's bulging from the pic....that's why I had to ask....I just have acetate...so mine is really flimsy.
I wonder what the new SU stuff is like.....it says 7mil and 20mil...whatever those mean....
It doesn't bulge that much - but I used brads to secure it for that reason - there is definite thickness or depth there, but using brads, means the film doesn't touch the card base, if that makes sense. It kind of raises it a bit.
I love how VSN makes you try new things. This is my first acrylic card.
The most difficult thing, by far, was trying to photograph it.

I know what you mean about photographing these. I always take several pics of my cards and choose the best one to upload. As I was reviewing my cards I actually saw my hand holding the cameral in one and the blinds on my window in my room on another!!
