I found some websites that have free clip art that can be used as digital stamps. Thought y'all might be interested too .
http://www.arthursclipart.org/index.html -scroll down to the bottom for the menu. There are many categories. Some have color images too, but some of the sections have the option of viewing just the black and white.
http://karenswhimsy.com/free-flower-clipart.htm Here are some pretty flowers. There are more images on this website, but it's pretty hard to find black and white ones (if you look through all the sections, most of the B/W are listed as drawings)
http://www.fundraw.com/clipart/ -this one has mostly colored images, but they have some black and white too. There are really big gaps between some of the images, so make sure you scroll down to see them all.
Oh, and this is a clip art directory I just found. I haven't looked though any of them yet though. http://www.clip-art.com/index.php
It's really hard to find good clip art that isn't colored in and looks nice, so this is all I've found so far, but I'll post more if I find any.
Oh, and you've probably seen the thread, but if not, Chispirit posted a thread with a link to her friends blog that has a few free digital images. They are REALLY cute! I am in love with the dragon! Here is the link to his blog http://dustinpike.blogspot.com/
Thanks so much for this! I make cards for soldiers and it's not easy to find images to use on kids' cards, since I can't own every stamp there is. This will help so much!
The Pink Petticoat blog has been mentioned in other threads. There are a couple of free images linked in the right column, under Giveaways: http://pinkpetticoat.blogspot.com/
I am wondering if it is ok to use those precious moments images?! I know some of them come in a figurine, because I have 2 of the images in figurine "format".
I love them!
And the disney ones are too cute too!

Thank you so very much for the links. I really liked the ones with the flowers, lots to choose from. I have bookmarked them all. You are so kind.

Dover, of the clip-art book fame, has a free sampler that they send via email every Friday. It includes images from several books that you can print. There is a quite a variety in the images. Some are colored, but many are not.
Ive been getting it for years. I used to only use the intricate designs for inkjet transfers. Now that Im into Copics and Prismacolor pencils, I look at it in a new way.

I read on a post somewhere that there was a site that sells all images for 99 cents. Not free... bus reasonable. Anyone know where that is???
There are probably several sites that sell single images in that price range. Lindsay's Stamp Stuff is one of them. Some of hers are 90 each. http://www.shophandmade.com/Store/Lindsay
that cool cat is so cute but the link won't open for me. i went to the hambo site and still no luck. darn china and troublesome internet!!!
would any one be able to send me the file?
Good morning all. This isn't a free site, but I have a subscription to iclipart.com through work. (I'm in advertising). They have a ton of b/w clipart available. I've been browsing through it the last hour. If you see something you want, I will be more than happy to send it to you. Just let me know!
EDIT: To get to the b/w clipart faster...click on the Advanced Search to the right of the search bar. Type in what you are looking for and check the B&W box, then hit find. You won't have to go through so many pages.
