I see the thread asking what your all time favorite stamp sets are...but tell me, what stamp sets in the current catalog can you not live without?? I'm going to a SU! party this Friday and I would love some ideas...
Thanks!!!! :-D
I just ordered Under the Stars ... we made a card with that set at my stamping club last night and I'm really excited to be getting it ... we also did a "cloud" tutorial and I now know how to make clouds ... cant wait to try it out!
I love Friends 24-7. That set was the last thing I bought. But you can't just buy the set you have to buy the wheel ,too. Or you could be like me and spend $90 last month. Well, part of that was because I was a hostess and part of it was because it was Sale-a-bration month. This month is too!
I just ordered Fifth Avenue Floral and the matching Impressions Embossing Folder but haven't received it yet to give my personal review.
I LOVE Thoughts & Prayers......the flower spray image is my favorite. Just by changing the marker colors used on the stamp changes the entire feel of the card.
I also vote for Thoughts and Prayers, I think its the nicest sympathy stamp I have ever seen in any of the companies I have looked at. It is versatile and I've seen it used for many occasions
My two faves from the new catalog are often overlooked. They are A Kind Word and Quilt Quips. In my opinion, it's some of the cutest art that SU has put out in a long time. I'm no fan of what looks to be computer generated graphics. Give me real art any day!
I have a few favorites. But I guess it depends on what you want to use it for. Fifth Ave Floral and the embossing folder - the results are gorgeous. Makes great wedding cards, Birthday for women, Anniversary cards.
I love Thoughts and Prayers - great sympathy set. Also can use tree for a multitude of cards. The saying in this set are very nice and a must have for me.
I love the new Branch Out stamp set. Just a fun set that can be used for many different occasions. Great for a Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall theme.
These are just a few of my favorites.

My favorite stamp right now (and has been for years) is actually a jumbo wheel called Watercolor Vine pg. 84. You can use it to make quick no layer cards by wheeling it and then adding a sentiment or add more color by stamping blossoms from any floral stamp you have. Add dimension by popping one blossom on the vine. Just love it!
If I had to pick a stamp set it would be Define Your Life pg. 147. There's a definition for any occasion and it will work with any focal image you already have. Great investment!
For me, it's Thoughts and Prayers. Second fave is Crazy for Cupcakes (love to paper piece the large image).
