Very cute idea, but a bit too much work for me to put into a cupcake wrapper.

I think it would be very easy to recreate one of those. I wouldn't do it every time I make cupcakes. But for a special occasion I think it would be very cute!!

Neat idea!
But I have to say that your caps just made me giggle when I read them..kind of like when we were kids and would have those sing-song sayings....
Thanks for the smile and I hope your keyboard reforms itself soon, lol!

Yes, just a sleeve to put around the finished cupcake. (Yay - my keyboard dried out and is working again!). That's why I thought about cutting a regular cupcake baking paper and using it as a template, but making sure to increase the diameter and height so that it will wrap around.

The Easter cricut cartridge has a cupcake wrapper on it. I got it for $12.00 at Roberts Crafts. I did pay $3.00 for a wrap at a cupcake store for a pattern.

That one would be fast and easy IF that was the design you wanted on the edge of your cupcake but not so much if you wanted something else. For some other design (like the cook heart one that was shown on this thread) you'd have to attach something to cover the design on the die-cut one. If you were already going to be doing that, may as well just do them from a blank template in the first place instead of basically doing them twice.

WOW! TFS this, seriously!
Our 21 year old niece just got engaged and between her mother, her mother's sister, me and the bride to be, I am the only one with an ounce of creativity in my bones so naturally, I've been doing A TON of planning and thinking about these kinds of things!
These would be LOVELY for her engagement party. THis is why SCS exists...for people like me who get roped into situations like this and then all the lovely ladies are around for brilliant ideas!

I've also bought some SVG files to cut them on my Cricut. I'm getting ready to make a bunch for graduation. SVGfiles.com has a bunch.

Have you seen the new line at Michael's from Wilton? They are so inexpensive and with 40% off coupons worth every penny.
