Here are my cards to count for April. They were made just the other day.
I am now a third of the way complete for the challenge. After the break I will be back to work and not on quite a roll. Thanks for looking.
I just finished 3 of my April cards. I used sketch 209,210,211. Takes a little more though when I am following sketch maps. Lots of fun though. I am having a lot of fun getting these cards done now. This was sure a good idea.

Have you been checking out the tutorials and such. I made the little origami box and everyone at work loved it. I love this site also. Great ideas and challenges daily.

I haven't done the box yet but have been working on all the card sketches (you know I love doing sketches). Some of the other ideas are really great. I did the Ink, spray, smash paper but haven't made it into cards yet. Am waiting till you get the March swap list put up so I have something to use it on. I finished all my Feb. swaps that is why I am so busy on Christmas cards. Housework is boring so I need something to do I think I will work on some scrap book pages today. Catch you soon,

Yeah, I know...but I've had a lot going on...just found out a little bit ago that my mom's surgery, which was scheduled for tomorrow, has now been postponed. She has to see a cardiologist tomorrow...I DO plan on getting some stamping time in this weekend- AND I'm home all day on Monday for the holiday so I'm hoping to be able to post my January cards soon!!
I finished my last 4 cards for April and have them uploaded. I used the Glitter Window tech. Lots of fun and they turned out really nice. My sister in law had shown me this one last month but I had forgotten all about it until I was going through the past tech. challenges. I hope to have mine all made for the year by the end of the month. That will free my time for other things and as long as I have to be inside I might as well do my cards in the evening.

Janet, I love that technique but I've never tried it. I think you've inspired me to give it a try!! Congrats on getting your April cards all completed!
Here is my card for April. Wow, I'm halfway into having my '09 cards done and it's still only January. Deets posted with picture in my gallery. TFL and enjoy, everyone!

Hi there -
Here are my three random designs for April -- they're random partly b/c I'm random ;) but also b/c I wanted to use up some images I'd colored back before Christmas but didn't use. Here's one with a poofy flower Here's one with some shiny leaves
and here's one with one of my fave stamps of the season!
Thanks again for such a great challenge! Now that my semester's really rolling, my May cards...will actually be made in May, probably! It feels good to be ahead for once, though!

I finished my cards for April. I got this idea when browsing thru some of the other Christmas cards on this site. Someone (I forgot who but thanks for the inspiration!!) did a card with stockings on it and the line, "...and the stockings were hung by the chimney with care..." just popped into my head. I am using up a lot of generic paper and other supplies doing this challenge - I love it!! Also, I finally got to use a stamp DH bought a long time ago - a background stamp of a brick wall. Don't know why this appealed to him but I was thrilled to have thought of a use for it.

I have done my April cards as well and will add the link once the image uploads.... this was farily simple and turned out to be one of my absolute favorites that I think I have to repeat again and again...... it is actually (I would say probably) the very first card that I have not cased, but created all by myself..... and again - LOVED doing it and LOVED the way it turned out!

CCC09-April
HERE are my cards for April. I wanted to make my niece a set of Thank You cards for her birthday in April (I made a set of 12 cards). We are giving her a bridal shower in May so I thought she could really use some Thank You's, plus these cards have her two most favorite things included....the color pink, and butterflies.

While is was "in the groove" last night doing my March cards, I thought . . . why not go ahead and start April? Well, I started and finished them laast night! Now to wonder if I will wait until the end of May to do my May cards? LOL Anyway, they are uploaded. Thanks again for the challenge. I'm sure by the end of the year I'll be on my knees thanking you!
