Hi, has anyone tried the metallic cardstocks? Do you use them as the actual card or as layers? I have craft inks. Do I need to emboss when using the metallic cardstocks?
If you have some cards to share, I'd so much appreciate it.

I personally have only used them for layering. However, just tonight I saw an awesome card that had silver embossing on top of the brushed silver. I think the main set was Bundle Up and it was uploaded today (11/19/05).
My daughter just made a christmas card with the brushed gold. She embossed a green tree right on top of it and it looks pretty good! I had not tried embossing on it yet so I was glad she did it. I have previously used it for layering as well. It gives it a nice touch!
The brushed copper is sooooo stunning and the gold/silver are nice. Paper is very thick and works well as matting or the card base itself. Never stamped on it.
I keep alot of the copper around, because it really pops a page for my heritage scrapbook.
I'm fortunate to have a Paper Plus close to me and they sell packs of the metalic paper (50 sheets) for $12.95 a pack. This paper is very good quality...wouldn't surprise me if it's the same as SU!. I just bought a pack of the silver but may go back and get a gold and copper.
So those in the Phoenix area PM me if you want the addy of the Paper Plus store.

The Stampin' Up! metallic card stock is a very high quality card stock. Just a touch used for layering can really jazz a card up. I also got a couple of card swaps from convention that used copper with black embossing on them. They were both stunning!
