Boolean ("AND"/"OR") searches?

Hi,

Maybe I'm missing something, but when you search the forum using more than one word, it seems like it searches using "OR". In other words, the results that come up have one word or the other in them. Am I correct? If I am, is there a way to force it to search for items that only have all the words in them (an "AND" search)?

I'm surprised the search didn't originally start with an AND type of search. Usually if you want one or the other you use the OR.

Be interested to see the answer myself. It seems to me the default is OR.

I think so too. I've tried the usual methods to do an "AND" search and I can't get it to work. I can never get it to come up with all the words in the same post. It can get frustrating when you have to dig through so much stuff that doesn't apply.

I have been asking for boolean search capabilities in the forums for quite some time now. Here's hoping it finally moves to the top of the list of things to do!

ETA: I suspect that the same "fix" would eliminate the problems with not being able to use multiple words (separated by spaces) for keywords in the gallery (hint hint).
