I think my new found love is searching the internet for freebies! I especially like to find sites that have talented teams that offer freebies on a regular basis-So this week's challenge is for you to go to this site http://www.divinedigital.com/ , scroll to the bottom and collect each of the freebies from now until Feb 28-you will then scrap a page using the freebies that you collected some time next week-end. You will have until March 6 to post!
Here are a couple of pages that I did with some of the freebies I collected from this site
This time all the NAMES-can you tell I am hoping for greater participation- will go into a drawing from now until the end of March for a drawing for another album to alter! Every page you make will get you into the drawing.
The expiration date then to have your name in the drawing is April 7th so it will include all of the challenges from now until the end of March!

What a great challenge. I am all about the freebies!!! I have never been to this site before though, I can already tell it's going to be trouble (a LOT of cute stuff).
Oh, this will be fun! I also already have stuff from this site, but I can always use more, more, more! Busy time this week, so not sure when I'll get to it, but I will!
I agree with Wendy, this will be fun. I had almost forgot about that site. Thanks for bringing it up Valerie. Is it alright to combine challenges? Maybe use these kit items and add some hybrid items for the hybrid challenge. Would that work? Thanks again for the great challenge Valerie, I love what you have done with the items, awesome. I am feeling some better today and hoping that maybe tomorrow I can get out and get some fresh air. You know, like go to my fav store for supplies, lol.
Hey Valerie. Your challenge is awesome and I wish I could do it. Thanks for the website with the freebie. I downloaded it while I could...still have to sign up for a class to learn PSE7 though. I've tried to play with it but I haven't a clue! I can't even figure out how to fix a picture like I do on Creative Memories software. I think once I've finished my taxes for 2008, I'll have more time to do a class so it might not be until April or May before I can start...but I most certainly will "collect" kits to use for when that time comes! Thanks again!
Great idea-I have been collecting and now I am going back through and deleting those things I know I will never use! So far Divine Digital has had a download a day freebie since I found out about them in... November? Anyway-have fun collecting and whenever you create-post so we all can see!

I had to chuckle after I uploaded this page to the gallery. Mine loaded up right next to Candy's (taca410) and they look like they're part of a dps (at least I think so!) I guess we might see a bunch of pages this week that look like they belong in the same album since we'll be using a lot of the same papers and elements.
This was fun, but I'm bummed I didn't get to download Thursday night's elements, as there were some cute ones in there. Oh, well, I'm pretty happy with my results.
You girls were busy this weekend! I was in Chicago with students with only internet access in the lobby! Oh well-I'm pooped-15 hours sleep in the past 3 days-but it was an awesome trip-now off to the gallery to see all your awesome creations- Just a note thoug-you can still download freebies from Divine Digital-they have started another set of daily downloads with the spring color scheme

When you begin your upload, it looks like this:
"Your Username:
Choose a category to upload your images to.
Pick a category that relates most to your image(s).
or if you would prefer to upload to one of your albums, select one here"
The default is "Member Gallery" so it just goes to your personal gallery if you leave it alone. But, if you click on the down arrow you'll see a list of categories to use. I type "s" which takes me straight down to scrapbooking. Scroll down a little further and you'll see 'digital scrapbooking' (also 12x12, 8.5x11 and so on). Choose this and your page will go into the digi scrapping gallery.

I did one! I didn't use the freebies at dvinedigital though, they just didn't work for my pics, so I used some freebies from Shabby Princess, Sweet Blossom Designs and from the e-zine 'ScrapinArt' (really awesome magazine, btw!!!)

lol .....I feel the same way about going for my teaching certificate. After 4 kids, all still young and dependant and underfoot, I can't imagine working through the needs of a class of 24-30 every single day.....eek. This is why we should all go to college straight out of high school, before we know too much!

I finally got this one done. I love the freebies each day at divine digital. I have started the March kit too. I'm all about the freebies. I think that 99% of what I have so far is freebies!
