You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Before you get excited/frustrated cause you have lots/dont have any patterned or designer paper, WAIT!! This is NOT what you think . . . exactly . . .
What this weeks challenge entails making your very OWN patterned/designer paper. I get comments on my cards all the time where someone will say Great DSP! Funny thing is, I have usually made it myself! Here are the rules:
Using only ONE stamp set for your entire creation (yup, you read that right, just ONE), make a card that features patterned paper you make yourself using the images from the stamp set you select. Dont worry, you can still stamp something as a focal point, Id just like you to use your hand-stamped patterned paper somewhere on the card.
Any sentiments you incorporate must also come from the same ONE stamp set.
As far as punches/Nestabilties, diecuts, etc., you may only use these IF you are going to use them as part of your sentiment ONLY! Do not frame/mount any images using punches/diecuts, etc. You CAN, however, handcut any images you want!!
And if that werent enough, the only embellishments you can use are ribbon and brads. Also, NO Cuttlebugging or texture plates. We want to see your lovely patterned paper!!!
Hows that for limited?? I just want to give yall an opportunity to go back to the basics . . . paper, stamps and ink!! Have fun!!
Amelia (WendybellsGirl) has been SOOO busy with dance practices/performances this week, that she didnt have any time to make a sample, but says Hi! to all of you!! Here are my samples:

Oh ya, very limited supplies! Great challenge Wendy and thank you. Right now, I'm wrapping all of my spare ribbon around clothes pins and putting in pretty glass jars. Am I insane or what?! See y'all in the morning after I get my taxes done. Ugh.
Now that sounds good fun. Glad you said stamp set and not stamp, LOL, which was what I first read. DH is hoping I'll go to the motorbike show with him after work, but I hope I'll get to play later on this evening. Thanks for such an inspiring challenge.

Pull out those brads again, put away the bling! That's a challenge in itself!! Here's my card! Making late for work A-GAIN.......haha

WOW! This sounds interesting. Hmmm, I wonder if I should start on it or do my grocery shopping. Great challenge.

Ok, I decided to do a quick card that I knew I could do in 15 minutes. Today is my grocery shopping day so I can't really play like I want to. It's a fall card, but it works for me. Hope you like it.

I really didn't have time this morning to make another card for the challenge...HOWEVER, Mark called me with a "CARD EMERGENCY!" We are going to dinner with his cousin, who I FORGOT had a birthday last week! YIKES!!!
