Post YOUR Favorite VSN Card That You Made!!
This was my first VSN, and I have had so much fun!! I have been trying to view all the wonderful cards in the gallery, and there are soooo many that I can't keep up!!
I've noticed that some people have noted that a card was their favorite that they made during VSN.... So I thought it would be fun if we each posted a couple of cards that are our favorite and why! I know there is going to be a gallery for the ones that the hosts pick, but until then let's view some of the favs here!
I'll start:
This melted crayon is my favorite, because it was a new technique for me, the colors were just fun, and I used my fav new stamp set!: FEB09VSNI Melted Crayon God's Beauty by krischir at Splitcoaststampers
This was my favorite card to make, because I used my OLD Button Bear, and I just LOVE him so much. It just made me happy coloring him, and I'm wondering why I never pulled him out for so many years! Here he is: FEB09VSNK Long Lost Button Bear! by krischir at Splitcoaststampers
I hope you will take a minute to post YOUR faves!! Thanks!!!

I like this idea. This was my first VSN and I did 3 of the challenges. My 2 favorite cards would be...
Hoo loves ya? because I just love this Unity Set! Love those cute owls and the sentiment! That's my "ode to Jimmi"
My other favorite is Hello, Baby! I love this pinwheel! Unity has such awesome stamps. I used this for the inchies challenge. I really like how it turned out.

Bella Soul or Lovely Trees. I'm quite pleased with both of them!
Fun idea, by the way!

My favorites were:
- For the love of Chocolate: I LOVE color challenges, so this was so fun. I think it turned out cute, and I thought the colors were wonderful. I am so a Milk chocolate fan. Card Here
- New love: Who doesn't like to use their new stuff. I sure love to use it all! It also forced me to use things that I just bought, and prove my DH wrong that- See I do use the things I got on sale! Card here.
Lastly my ultimate fav. is this card:
- You're my obsession:There is just something about things you are obsessed about that make you love them more. It was so fun to make! Card here.
I had an awesome time with this, and I look forward to more VSN's to come!

Fun idea, Kris!
I don't have time to go through all the galleries for all the challenges! I tried, though! LOL So this is fun to go through this thread! Thanks for doing this.
This is my fave. Crayon Daisies I loved trying a new technique and very surprised at how crisp this turned out.

My favorite card was the one I did for "Ode to Jimmi", where we made a card for someone we love...
I made this one for my son and I really love how it turned out...my masculine cards are not the best so this one made me happy.
What a great weekend, huh girls????

Well, I only had time for three challenges, but I had a blast doing them!
My favorite is Clover
but I love Wonderland too just because I made it about my obsession! (I decided to take off the Cheshire Cat though, I didn't like the disney look with all the other non disney items. I think I like it better without)
off to leave some love on these fabulous cards!

Great thread! This was my first time participating in VSN. It was a blast! I'm looking forward to the next one. Hopefully I'll be more prepared as I just realized on Saturday that VNS was going on and scrambled to join.
I like how this turned out: FEB09VSNC - Bittersweet Buzz by stampermomof2 at Splitcoaststampers
You all are very talented! I will make sure I take a look at every card here when I find the time. I've already checked out the first few and all I can say is WOW!

This is such a great idea. Thanks for starting this thread. I can't decide on one, so here's my two favorites.
This one I love because I actually came up with a funny card all on my own, which I have never done before!
Rotten Miracles by mnfroggie at Splitcoaststampers
This one is great because I love the look of the split negative technique, I will have to do this technique again soon.
Looks Like Split Negative Spring by mnfroggie at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks to all of you guys who have looked at my cards, it is so much fun to share with everyone!

THANK YOU for this idea !!! I can't wait to surf through and see everyone's favorites.
This was my first VSN. I am SOOOO grateful to all the hosteses -- what a wonderful job you did! I worked very very hard to get my stamping room ready by friday night (just moved to my new home in Aug - and still have boxes around!). I had hoped to complete 1/2 of the challenges, but wound up with a very bad 5-day headache. Stamping (despite pain) made me happy, and I managed to complete 6 challenges. I can't wait until the next VSN!
Here is my favorite card is sunshine ode to erin because the idea literally came out of thin air and it was such an emotional card for me to do.
Thanks for playing everyone !!

Can I be jealous of your CUTE feather??? I ended up finding a feather in a really old Hot Off The Press little bag of "baubles", and it was a bright green, very gaudy looking feather. I used it anyway, because it was all that I had!! LOL
Your little petite feather is just adorable!!!

It was so much fun and SO easy to make! I can envision making lots of these...and using LOTS of Primas along the way!

great thread, I've enjoyed seeing what each of you thought was your best entry! This was my second time participating and I doubled the amount of challenges I accomplished! So perhaps next time, I'll get 'em all.
My favorite card was for Jenny's 'Window into my soul' acetate challenge.
I loved how all the symbolism of window, soul, and water played on the words I chose to use: Soul paintings, believe, life and journey. You'll find IT HERE. Thanks for having a look!

How fun is this? It was such a challenge for me to participate - my dh decided this was the week end to remodel my stamp room!! Needless to say I worked from my entry way and got LOTS of exercise walking back and forth for the supplies needed! I got 16 challenges done - today when I put my stuff away (in my NEWLY remodeled stamp room - WOO HOO) I didn't realize how many trips I made back and forth! LOL!
So here is my favorite from the inches challenges Flower Power

One because of the beauty of the stamp: hydrangea
One because it was just fun to think about how obsessed I am with
stamping

Kris,
This was a fun idea. I've enjoyed looking at some of the cards that people picked as their own favorites. It is fun how stamping is such a personal hobby. We all have our own style and favorite techniques, but the best part of sharing our creations with others is the chance to tell our stories. I love to read them.
Here is my favorite: Superglew's Baby Blue Elephant I like this one just because I think it is pretty. Also, it was really easy to make: it just came together for me.
Also, not to forget the CRUSH VSN mini: Hello. My Name is Inigo Montoya. You Killed My Father. Prepare to Die. I had to laugh when I saw Christi's "As You Wish" challenge, because I had already made a CRUSH card with my favorite TPB quote. I got some great comments on this card, so that was really fun, too.
