Welcome to our 2nd CAS challenge! This week we would like you to use one button on your card.
What is CAS?
The idea of CAS is to keep it Clean and Simple.
Definition: A clean and simple card has limited layers and sometimes just a card base. It leaves a lot of "open space". It uses little or no embellishments. Any techniques should be the old standard everyday kind like sponging, distressing and piercing. Limit the number of tools you use. Any colored images should be small and quick. Don't go overboard on tons of punches and embossing. CAS cards should be easy and quick.
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
You’re done!

This was a fun challenge! I made it last night, but the site was all wonky and I couldn't link it then. I slept in a little since I was up 'til 3:30am dinking around in my craft cave! That's what a double chai tea latte will do to you when you drink it at 9:00pm!! What was I thinking?!!

I found your comment about this challenge when visiting the SCS Site Suggestions and Questions so I checked to see where it was listed. I never saw the 1st CAS Challenge and can't find it under Weekly Challenges. This looks like fun...but I don't know where to find it! When is it published? Mondays? Thanks
Location: prolly in my 'rubber room'... in the mid-west

if you click on splitcoast challenges instead of a catagory(from the forum page), then scroll down past the listed ones... you will find it.

It's in the challenge forum down past the weekly challenges. New challenges usually start that way. When we see that it is successful, it will be moved up to the weekly challenges with it's own sub-forum. At this time, Mondays are looking like the best time.
Thanks for asking. I'm sure others were wondering the same thing. ;)

Many thanks, I found it!! I saw some comments about CAS on General Stamping Talk yesterday but didn't know what it was all about...until today, when I happened on a comment from Miss Boo. I'll be a regular visitor, now.
My desk just happens to be covered with buttons right now as I work on another project - how convenient Thanks to you and Miss Boo for answering my question.
Thank you, Miss Boo for a fun challenge. I did find time to play and had a great time doing the challenge. Here's my card - CAS02 Pooh Loves You by Cindy H. at Splitcoaststampers
