Without going to the gallery, you can also just hold your cursor over your name in a post. Look at the bottom of your screen. At the end of the URL, it will show a number. That is your member number on SCS.

I must have missed something - I don't see any number except posts. What am I doing wrong?
yup just put your mouse pointer over your name on the left.. The number does change as mine has over the years.
hmm, you might be right about that but probably only once. we did a big gallery and forums overhaul way back when (very precarious) and the site was actually down for almost a week (unimaginable today). as part of that, I think user ids shifted slightly and we had to do some major surgery behind the scenes to re-align everything.
