Well I finally did my first stamping party and just sent in an order for 1000.00 bucks!!!! I can't believe it!!!!! My class went well and I met the minimums for the first quater.
I just had over $400, then my $100 to that. I got lots of free stuff. That is fun. I am mianly doing stamp camps. But it is nice to know my first quarter is taken care of without any more worries.
My sales ended up at 653.00, so I was VERY pleased. My order should be here next week. As the hostess, I racked up on this one!!! Now, to get some booking generated. I had several people tell me they'd have a show, but they aren't on board with setting a date/time yet.

1000 bucks!! Wow! You go girl! I hope with my first workshop to get a qualified show. But I would be shocked if I got that much in sales! Were you the hostess? That would pay off big if you were.
That's so very exciting! Congratulations! Now, I need to learn from the best of them... what's your secret ;-) I'm actually signing my papers tonight - I've got the anxious jitters. :p
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but how did you go about setting up your first workshop at home? Did you do several projects? Did you have an open house where people could drop in at their own convenience? I just don't know what would be a good layout. During the week after work? On the weekend? I'm sure my upline will fill me in the next couple weeks, but I was hoping to get a jump start on this, because I want to have a party before the holidays, but I fear I'm cutting it close!
Any advice is welcomed.
Thanks!
