I think I must have read this wrong, did you say this is NOT an extensive list??? Wow I am totally amazed. TYFS I will be sharing this with all of my SU friends.
Dee
Wow, what can I say but this list is amazing!!!
I love the way you set it up, it's terrific.
Super idea to be able to cross reference with either the punch you have or the set you are using, Brilliant!!
TFS!!
Thanks Somertime, I'm using your excel sheet to assist me in this project.
Hey Punch Pals, there is currently a thread working on creating an updated Punch/die chart for matching stamp sets for the new 2009-2010 Idea book. If you’d be willing to lend a hand please post at Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Is the thread link above only available to demos? I clicked on it and received the following message:
DigitalStamper63, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
Yes I guess you would not be able to access it on the demo side, you'd have to be a demo to be in the demo forums.
Vonda Thomas and myself are in charge of the master copies, she is looking after it in MS Word and I'm going to make it up in Excel. We will post it on this side once it is done.
It's too much work for one person to go through the Stampin Up Catalogue for all the punches. I've already spent at least 6 hours basically just working or setting up the sheet. So we are looking for anyone that would be willing to help by choosing a punch you would like to submit info for.
I'll go through the demo thread and update the punches that have been spoken for and post here.
First I need to get a few things done around the house, so bare with me.
Basically all everyone has to do is pick a certain punch, punch it on a scrap paper then go through the current catalogue and find all the stamp sets that would work with that punch. Reply with the stamp sets that you found work with that particular Punch.
Please post on this thread which punch you want to do, so that no one is doing it twice. Then I will add your name beside the punch that you are resposible for getting the info for.

-Dormant list
-2009-2010 Holiday Mini set.
Please check the above out for the punch or die you are working on if you can.
Just pick the punch or die you want to work with and let us know which stamp sets go with them. Let us know you are working on them so everyone is working on a different punch or die.
The following is Totally OPTIONAL- if you want to be more particular use these codes:
M = matches perfectly, made for that set
C = coordinates, goes good with the stamp set/item,comes together nicely, cool
F = it Fits, might be a bit Finicky but Fine , probably not First choice for punch
L = Looks good with, but not a match image won't fit in, but you Love to use those 2 together
R = item is retired
I do have some punches coded this way, but I really dont expect anyone to get that particular, Id be VERY happy with just a list of any & all punches that work with any stamp within a set.
The retired list will not be complete, its too much work to expect anyone to go through old catalogues but if you are working with a punch and know you always use that punch with a retired stamp set please include it. I want to include the retired stamp listing in the excel list, it will be basically made up from stamp & punch reference listings that I am aware of that people have made up in the past.
Vonda will compile all the info as to which punch & die set go with each stamp sets for the Current 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalogue and may include a few retired sets.
I have already started working on the excel list it will include some retired stamp & punches. I will keep it up to date as everyone sends in info. We will have a MS WORD & an EXCEL List. It will be posted in both forums when completed.
