A thread was started a while ago about angel policies and a particular company. I don't remember which one. I did an informal search and there are several threads that mention angel policies, but not one that is focused about them specifically here at SCS.
So, I became a woman on a mission. Looking up angel policies for the companies I do business with. I haven't had to "use" an angel policy before as I've never sold anything I've made with paper crafts. But I had been giving it some thought.
In my search I've found some companies to be VERY generous with their policies, others to be sorta generous and others to be stingy IMHO. But I'm not going to judge their angel policies as each one of us has a slighty different use for using a particular companies' product. As I find them or receive an email, I'll post them to this forum and thread. I would appreciate it if you not voice your judgement of an angel policy on this thread as well. If you don't like a particular company's policy, please write them and let them know. If you do like it, also let them know. Through writing and purchasing we can do a lot more good than complaining or praising on a thread that only a few of us will see.
If you receive a copy of a policy or find a company that I don't have (and it will take me a while to post all of the policies I have found or received), I would appreciate it if you would post it here. In the title, would please list the company's name of the policy you're posting.
I received this email from McGill and received permission to share it.
I am not sure where these terms came from. I can assume it is our website. Yes, please punch paper, that is what our products are used for. Yes, you may use our punches to make items to resell. Gina K. Designs is an Angel Company. You may sell your hand-stamped projects at craft fairs, in stores and on the internet, however, you may not mechanically or electronically reproduce our images without expressed written consent. You may submit your work to stamping and scrapbooking magazines and they may print those projects without our written consent as long as proper credit is given to our company in print.
Found at their website also, couldn't link correctly. Sorry
EK Success - a lot of product in produced by this co.
Again, I couldn't successfully link so here it is:
An Angel Policy allows one to receive limited-use permission of copyrighted images. Please refer to the Angel Policy Guidelines Sheet for more information. If interested in submitting items for limited use consideration, please print out and follow the directions on the Angel Policy Permission Form.
www.eksuccess.com > about us > about us - FAQs > Do you have an angel policy?
Sorry, I forgot to put this in my first post. If something in the angel policy is not clear, please email and get clarification from the company.
Also, I'm not lawyer, know very little about law, and am just hoping to help. I've tried to link as often as I'm able, as policies can change. I'm still new to how to arrange things on SCS, so I apologize for my ineptitude.
Thank you to those that have all ready posted angel policies that I haven't gotten to, I appreciate your help.

OnyxXpressions is an "angel company" and that means you can use our images with reckless abandon on any hand-stamped items that you might like to sell.
The Stampsmith is a trademarked "Angel company," meaning you are encouraged to hand stamp works for sale, but no reproduction of these images permitted.
We would be pleased to have you use our products in your stamping and scrapbooking projects. If you are selling your work, we just ask that you give Club Scrap credit for the stamp and paper designs. The best way to accomplish this is to purchase our logo stamp for use on your work. You may call us toll free at 888-634-9100 to order these stamps, or you may order them via our website at www.clubscrapcommunity.com.
Please let us know if you have additional questions or concerns.

Since I started this thread, I hope you don't mind that I put this here.
I don't know how to do a "sticky". Any help?
How do I edit or add to a previous post? (I believe you can teach an old dog new tricks - so please help this old dog.)
There is not a particular order (obviously) of how I put angel policies on here. Some of the companies I've posted I've never used but know a lot of you do. I just appreciate it when I can find it on a website and that's how I have found most of them. If I haven't been able to EASILY find the angel policy, I have written the company and it has usually been a link to their website that I've overlooked. I have also written for clarification if I felt I wanted it. What I'm really trying to say is, if I haven't posted an angel policy it's 1: because I'm not aware of the company, 2: I haven't gotten around to posting it, 3: I haven't received an email back for the policy or clarification, or 4: I'm waiting for permission to post an email reply. Also, if you don't see a company here, please look them up and add them. If you can't find their policy, write them. (Please excuse the poor grammar.)
Thanks again to all that have posted. I appreciate it.
