Default Decorating a Booth for Craft Fair:

Does anyone have an eye-catching way of decorating a booth for a craft fair? (I don't have SU's kit) I'll be selling cards, tiles, etc. and want it to look neat. Pictures would be REALLY awesome ;)

Don't have pictures but be creative. Use shutters to display your cards, or hang them with clothespins from a tree or string, I do a lot of stacking then cover with fabric, I also use shelves on my tables. If you have a covered booth then hang stuff from the rafters in fun bags. Experiment. I always preset in the garage and its amazing where you can find your inspiration!

I used to use navy blue sheets (cheap from Wal-Mart!) and then cover the table with a roll of Kraft paper bought at the office supply store. (Used for mailing, so you find it in the mailing section.) I also used the sheet and a nice old quilt to give the table a country feel.

You don't need the SU kit if you're selling cards - matter of fact, in talking with SU, if you are selling cards at a craft fair you are supposed to just do it as you - not representing yourself as a Stampin' Up demonstrator. My upline3 (upline cubed - my upline's upline's upline) explained to me at lunch the other day that it is because you don't want someone that isn't a good card maker representing themselves as SU because it can give SU a bad name, dilutes the brand, etc. - especially if they use non-SU stuff in what they make. I confirmed this with the demo hotline too, but you might want to also just to be sure. It's such a gray line that I'm still confused about it!

Default rules

here are the rules for what you can and can't do for being a crafter or being a demo... there are strict rules for selling handmade items.
you can't sell items and be there as a demo...
this was approved by my upline's SAM but still call DS if you will be going as a demo to get it all approved.

pm me if you have any questions! ;)

I just had a craft fair table set up and I agree with the first post about being creative. I am sorry that I do not have pictures to show. The table clothes were provided for us so that all the tables of other products would match. I also bought Christmas fabric with small snowflakes and gold shimmery fabric to drape over boxes to add height to my display. I was showing mostly Christmas products so I laid out a variety of cards, journals etc. I also used black foam core board from Office Depot and stuck cards on with that tacky stick stuff from Walmart. The cards stayed on well and it looked very professional. I had made some of the glitter ornaments and had them hanging on holders from Michaels which drew a lot of attention. I was pleased with my presentation of the table and was not representing Stampin' Up. I hope I helped you out. Good luck!
