What is the Sketch Challengein Andreas words from week SC08 (1st SC hostess):"You take the sketch I provided and use any stamp set, any accessory, and any kind of paper to make a card. So all of the cards have the same basic layout, but they all look very different." It is fine to flip the sketch, change panel sizes, shapes, card size and border as you wish (unless stated in the write up for the week), a little tweaking is fine but lets see those main elements of the posted layout please! Thank you for respecting the person used as an example each week! ******************************************* ******************************************* This Week:
I was asked way back when to use this layout for the challenge but I dont remember who made the request and Im sorry it took over two years to get to it but here it is!
For #4 on the sketch: make any shape you wish and it doesnt need to be cut out, I used a Nestabilities die cut for this weeks card.
If you can keep the 3-a panel narrow, that would be great but size isnt mandatory. And the oval can be any shape you wish or an embellishment for 3-b.
I think that covers, I hope you enjoy playing this week!
Gallery Submissions (this link will only show cards with the keyword in the keyword line)
You can find measurements in my card description linked in post #2.
OR The attachment will print out to actual size of an A2 card for most computers. A2 is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
Hmmm, I wonder if I can come up with something with the color challenge and this one. I was voluteering at the kids school today and I missed out, darn.
Thanks, looks interesting!

Roxie - both your example cards are just gorgeous. This is a really interesting layout. I am about to go home from work and am determined to have a play with this tonight. Thanks.
I told myself I would play in the morning, but just couldn't stop myself. :-) Here's MY CARD at 1:30 a.m.

I based my idea off of the sketch and also this sticky note holder that I made this past weekend.

can you believe it's 2AM...my oldest DS dropped off the grandkids about 11 so he could take his wife to the hospital...severe pain...he just called and she's having surgery to remove a perferated appendix! I could be up a while!

WOW! GREAT sketch! I love the option to change the starburst...I don't really have any die cuts that would work...I have to find some! LOL!
BRRRRRR...It's REALLY cold outside! Coldest in Jacksonville in a VERY LONG time...The water in the bird bath froze! In ten years, that HAS NEVER happened!
