I've noticed some BEAUTIFUL cards at scs and was wondering--how do you get your brads positioned so perfectly? Especially those in a straight row--they always seem to be spaced evenly and aligned. Is there a secret to this? Thanks!!
I don't have a piercing guide so I do mine a different way.
I line up the brads where I want them and while they're closed, I indent the point of the brad into the CS just to make a slight impression. Then I make a dot with a pencil where the impression is, poke it with a thumbtack and then follow through the brad.
I'm sure the paper piercer is a much more efficent way - this is just the way I've always done it and my stamping budget is so, so limited that I find ways to sort of cut corners in those types of places.
I use my two hole punch from Stampin Up. Even if I want more then the two I use the last of the two holes as a guide and punch again with one of the punch going through an already punched hole. And so on for as many holes as I need. Understand? Clear as mud, right? I never thought of the paper piercer, I'll give that a try maybe that will be better.
Love the SU template and piercing tool to align brads evenly!

This is too funny. . . mine aren't always straight and as soon as I read your question, I said "Oh! I bet they use the mat pack and piercing tool!" HA! I'm going to do that from now on ;)
