I'd love to hear some fun positive things about the upcoming catalog. I know some of us have shifted to other companies, but I keep hearing that this is the best catty ever and I am dying to see it.
Can someone describe some of the reasons this one is so great? I'd like to keep this thread focused on the positives!

I had a link a few days ago that was to a canadians blog and she showed just about every new thing in the catty. It is wonderful. I love it that they have come out with a large heart and the little hearts punches. Super cool new dies. I especially like the rolodex die. There are a couple stamp sets I have to get. The new coffee set is better than many of the past coffee sets.
I love many companies but they all work so well together. I sell TAC but only use SU paper.
I can't wait till the catty is out for the public.

We also have a new "mover and shaker die". It will cut out your card AND cut a Curly Label shape where ever you want it. This is cool since the punch only reaches so far. Also, we now will have textured plates and the price is very reasonable. You get six designs (3 plates) for 11.95 or 9.95. We are offering exclusive embosslits--very nice. Love the new buttons. We have some rub-ons with COLOR! And a whole new line of Decor Element (separate supplement). I could go on, but these are some of my favorites!
Papers papers papers LOL - there are some gorgeous new colors and prints - and the buttons are one of my 'need' items...I love that we can now buy the clear rhinestone brads on their own...and the crocheted flowers are adorable...there is a bird stamp set that is a must have...and the new dies and folders I cannot wait to get my hands on...
I'm excited about all of the new dies for the Big Shot (especially the Manhattan Flower embossing one!) and all of the new glitters!! I can't wait for my case of catalogs to arrive!

Big Brown just delivered my catalogs today, and I was shocked to receive them so early! But I'm not complaining ;) I think SU has done a fabulous job with their products this year. Some of my favorite new stamp sets are "Cheap Talk" and "Good Friend." I'm also loving the new DSP "Good Morning Sunshine" and "To the Nines Speciality" (great for masculine pages). Their new on board "So Tweet" collection is also great! Plus all the new dies and the texture plates are awesome. I can't wait to place my order!

Ooooh, glitter? SOLD! (I think I must have been one of those birds that collects shiny objects in a past life, I am so obsessed with glitter lately!):-D

Have just bought a Cuttlebug, and really liking background stamps, I LOVE having SU! embossing folders that match the background stamps!!!! Definitely something I'll be buying!
I love all the new words sets. Finally words!!! One set called three little words. My favorite set is thoughts and prayers. Trendy trees has words too and a matching wheel. Lots of new trees sets. All the DSP is yummy.
I received my new catalog today, and really like some of the new sets--almost like SU decided that they wanted to incorporate the beauty of some of the older catalogs and the trendiness of the word sets. I like it better than the last two, for sure. Unfortunately, some of the prices went up on some sets and the classic stampin' pads. There's a neat "eyelet" punch. I like the game/card oriented stamp sets, but think that the coffee set isn't as good as Like It a Latte, or What's Brewin? Still disappointed that there is not a new scripture set--nothing as good as Say It With Scripture. (I'm getting all my scripture sets from Our Daily Bread Designs now anyway.) SU did a good job with the new catalog--Can't wait till sellabration!
rolodix die? that does sound interesting! anyone remember the candanian's blog with pictures??
Joan, Dina Anker (dinapea) has some photos up on her blog!!
The new catty looks positively awesome. I just got home today from a long trip and was so happy to see the new catty in my mailbox!! I've gone through it twice and still haven't absorbed it all ...
The Big Shot section has sooooooooooo much available! Love the exclusive movers and shakers curly label die, the texturz plates, the butterfly die (from the cover of the current catty) and all sorts of other new dies (those just stuck out for me!).
I'll look through again to see the stamp sets, can't say any really stick in my mind at the moment, there are too many!
yes, the supply index is no longer in the catty, but it's available for download from your demo! I'm not sure whether or not it will be available through the SU website, we'll have to wait and see. I know I'll be printing out a bunch to hand out to those that purchase an Idea Book from me!
The Supply Index will be available on the customer side of the SU site on January 19. And it has the picture of the item to go along with the recipe. So... its a pdf with about 23 pages (and 22MB). If you are on dial-up - it will take a while to download! But a great resource.
Can anyone tell me how much the new embossing folders are going to cost? TIA!
The Texturz plates are 11.95 for 3 plates (6 patterns) for the SU exclusive Backgrounds I and 9.95 for Texture Plates Kit #4 (not exclusive).
The Embossing folder is 7.95 - I saw it demonstrated in Orlando and it is gorgeous - the Manhattan Flower to match the Decor element and the new 5th Avenue stamp set. It will be available in March. I hope they will have more folders in future catalogs.
The papers are fabulous!! I will have about a half dozen on my first order.
The new eyelet border punch is a must have.
The Texturz plates are another must have for me.
I love all the Manhattan style stamps, papers and accessories. (maybe because I'm a jersey girl!) Fifth Ave. Floral is the first set on my list.
Musix Expressions is a beautiful violin image with a floral background a small owl. It is simply lovely. I am not a musician but this stamp is tops on my list.
